☀️ Crisp autumn sunshine and 28 big smiles at Barking Park! 🍂

What a fantastic morning for event number 166! The weather delivered a lovely, dry autumnal chill—perfect conditions for walking, jogging, running, and skipping around our 2km course.

A huge, warm welcome to our 2 first timers who joined the junior parkrun family today - we hope you had a blast! 🥳 Plus, congratulations to the 3 juniors who bagged brand-new personal bests! ⏱️👏

What a glorious, sun-soaked morning at Barking Park! Under warm autumn skies, 41 energetic juniors walked, jogged, ran, and skipped their way around our 2km course today!

Milestone Week!

This Sunday, two of our Run Directors are celebrating volunteering milestones:

James Byers = 300th
Martin Smith = 250th

For this special Sunday, we would love everyone to join the celebration by wearing either their parkrun milestone merchandise or their milestone colour. There are so many to choose from with the new junior and 5K milestones!

What a fantastic morning at Barking Park! ☀️🌳

A huge thank you to the 39 bright stars who joined us for Event 164! The weather was absolute perfection - warm, sunny, and full of smiles as our young runners, joggers and walkers tackled our 2km course.

A special shoutout to our 4 First Timers who joined the parkrun family today - we hope you had a blast! And an extra round of applause to the 8 brilliant juniors who smashed out a new Personal Best! 👏🎉 Whether you walked, jogged, or ran, every single one of you did an amazing job.

What a fantastic Sunday morning at Barking Park for event 163!🌳🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

While it was warm and cloudy, the energy from our parkrun family lit up the whole park! A massive well done to all 31 of our brilliant junior finishers who ran, jogged, walked, and powered their way around our 2km course.

🌟 Milestone Celebrations: Our juniors automatically join a milestone club when they take part 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 times! Every finish gets you one step closer to your milestone wristband.
