The confession is out 😂

I spotted Eli walking around my street back in June and became slightly obsessed with this tiny hairless man 🥹

After months of wondering who owned him, I finally asked on the local Facebook group if anyone knew his owner… and if I could groom him 😂

Thankfully his mum got in touch and the rest is history 🖤

Meet Eli, the dog I stalked my way into grooming. 😂🐾

It's national Dog Day!!

And what better day to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our charity day on Sunday for K9 Search and Rescue🥹

Thanks to all the lovely people who brought their dogs along, donated, shared our posts, and generally helped make the day such a success, we raised £250!!!

That’s £250 going towards an absolutely amazing charity and the incredible work they do with their search and rescue dogs. 🖤

A wee reminder!

I’ve had SO many new enquiries recently, and honestly, I can’t thank you enough!!

The amount of you recommending Pup Fiction to your friends, family and fellow dog-obsessed people genuinely means the world to me. It’s the best compliment you could give me 🥰

BUT… my books are *still* closed to new clients for now!

I do have a waiting list, so if you’d like to be added to it, just drop me a message. I just can’t guarantee when I’ll be able to start taking on new clients again, as I’m currently booked up quite a way ahead.

These two gorgeous cockapoos came to visit Pup Fiction for the first time today, and I think it's safe to say they left looking like completely different dogs❤️❤️

Mr Ozzy came in looking for a haircut and left with a Hollywood smile 🦷 Just look at the before & after... the results speak for themselves!

Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning can be added to most grooming appointments. Just send me a message and we can chat about whether your dog's teeth are suitable, as it's not the right option for every dog🦷

Right guys... I have somehow convinced Ryan to join me getting absolutely soaked for charity. 😂🛁

On Sunday 23rd August we'll be running a Fundraising Dog Wash at Pup Fiction for K9 Search & Rescue NI 🐾

This isn't a normal grooming day, so before anyone asks... there'll be no haircuts, no brushing, no de-shedding 😂 Just a good wee bath and blow dry to get your dog smelling less like a swamp puppy

🫧 Minimum donation £20
💅 Nails can be added on (or done as a walk-in on the day) for a minimum additional £10 donation.

Every penny goes straight to K9 Search & Rescue NI. 🖤

A few boring but important bits...
• Limited slots and pre-booking only.
• You don't need to be a Pup Fiction client - everyone's welcome.
• Because it'll be busier than my normal 1-1 setup, your dog must be dog friendly and happy enough being bathed and blow dried.

If you've been putting off giving your dog a bath because they're "self-cleaning" (they're not 😌, but that's a topic for another day) here's your chance to let us do it instead... and it's for a class cause.

Give me a message if you want booked in before Ryan remembers he volunteered for this. 😂

Well... I've officially joined the dark side (or lost the plot) 🐈😻

Spent Saturday with the lovely Maria from Bark&Claw learning how to groom cats, because apparently I looked at my peaceful wee dog grooming life and thought, "Nah, that's far too easy." 😂

I'm not ready to start taking bookings just yet, I've still got theory coursework to finish and a few bits of new kit to buy first, but cat grooming will be landing at Pup Fiction soon👀

Pup fiction might need a rename? Can't leave out our new kitty friends

Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Mostly for me. The cats will probably be grand. 🫡

Alsooo... PERSONAL LIFE UPDATE 🥹💍🖤 So if you spot a ring in photos over the next while, I'M ENGAGED!
But tbh I probably won't be wearing it much at work because shampoo, dog hair, flying paws and tiny velociraptors don't exactly mix with shiny things😂

Now... back to our regular programming of cute dogs✂️🐩🖤

I have actually survived the pre-holiday chaos🤣
That is me signing out to go enjoy my holiday, and hopefully come home with a nice tan (more likely to be like a tomato)

My work phone will be left at home, so any messages or calls will be replied to when I get back!

Happy Father's Day to all the dog dads out there!
The ones who swore they didn't want a dog... and are now sharing their side of the bed, talking to them in a silly voice, and carrying treats and poo bags in every coat pocket 😂
