Experienced Groom / Yard Manager
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
This role would suit either an experienced groom or someone looking to step into a Yard Manager position, depending on experience.
We are a small, professional dressage yard based just outside Banbury, Oxfordshire. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of horse care and are looking for someone who shares the same approach.
The role includes:
- Daily care of our competition horses and liveries
- Mucking out, turning out, bringing in and all general yard duties
- Grooming, tacking up and preparing horses for training and competitions
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and running efficiently
- Helping to oversee the day-to-day running of the yard
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with competition horses
- Is organised, reliable and hardworking
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of horse care
- Can turn horses out to a high standard, including clipping and plaiting (preferred but not essential)
- Can work independently and use their own initiative
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude
