Who remembers Luna and her adorable puppies? 💕🐾

Earlier this week, these gorgeous little ones came to visit us all on their own as a solo visit, without mum Luna, for their first vaccinations and microchips, ready for their next big adventure in their new homes! 🏡🐶

We couldn’t believe how much they’ve grown and they were so well behaved and so chilled! 🐾

It has been such a pleasure to be part of Luna’s journey alongside her lovely owners, watching these beautiful puppies grow from the very beginning. 🥰

A huge well done to Luna for being such a wonderful mum and raising such gorgeous puppies! ❤️

We wish each and every one of them a lifetime of love, happiness and fun adventures with their new families! 🐾💚

With love from all of us at Ferriston Vets! 💚

On Monday, the lovely Flossy came to us as an emergency as her labour wasn’t progressing as well as we had hoped. We made the decision to perform an emergency caesarean, and we're happy to report Corina and Lucy safely delivered two healthy little puppies. 🐶🐶💚

Today, Flossy and her puppies came back to see us for their post-op check, and we’re very happy to report that mum and puppies are all doing really well!

Flossy is being an amazing mum, and her two little puppies are thriving. 💕

A big well done to Corina and Lucy for their teamwork during the emergency, and an even bigger well done to Flossy for being such an amazing mum! 🐾💚

🐑 From caring for your pets to preparing champions for the show ring!

Outside Ferriston Vets, our lovely Lucy’s biggest passions is her flock of Greyface Dartmoor sheep, now numbering over 20! 💚

Lucy spends many summer weekends preparing and showing her beloved sheep at country shows. There’s plenty of hard work behind those beautiful fleeces, and her recent trip to Moreton Show brought some fantastic results:

🏆 Marv – 1st in the male class and Overall Longwool Champion!
🎖️ Dave – 6th in the ram lamb class
🥈 Brenda – 2nd in the aged ewe class
🎖️ Crumble – 5th in the shearling ewe class
🎖️ Dotty – 4th in the ewe lamb class

We’re so proud of Lucy and the care and dedication she gives her animals, both in the practice and at home. Please join us in congratulating her and her wonderful flock! 👏🐑

🐾 Meet Yoki! 🌎✈️

It didn’t take us long to realise just what a special girl Yoki is! 💕

Yoki is currently on an incredible road trip with her owners, travelling the world for the next few years. Her home country is Australia, but since setting off on their adventure in March 2025, Yoki has already visited an amazing 24 countries! 🌍

Earlier this week, Yoki came to see us for her vaccinations ahead of her next Animal Health Certificate, as she gets ready for the next leg of her travels to Munich.

While Yoki will be staying in a dog-friendly hotel in Munich for a few weeks, her owners are flying back to Australia for a few weeks to attend their “non-hairy kid’s” wedding! 💒🐶 (The owners description! 😂)

Once the owners fly back to Munich, all 3, including Yoki will continue to travel, Europe, moving onto Eastern Europe including Turkey, Cyprus and then to the Baltics.
After traveling all those countries over the next year- they will all head to America and Canada for a few years before making their way to Japan, New Zealand and then back home to Aus.

What an incredible adventure! ✈️🐶🌎

We wish Yoki and her family the very best of luck on their travels. We hope they have an amazing time exploring the world together — and, of course, we hope to see Yoki again in the future! ❤️🐾

Safe travels, Yoki! 🌍✨
