🐾 Kobe 💙

Kobe has been coming to us for a while now for treatment for his elbow dysplasia. It took him a little time to get used to the treadmill, but with plenty of patience and persistence, he’s now absolutely smashing it! 💪🐶

And we think it’s safe to say he’s a big fan of his Winback sessions with our in-house physio, too! 🥰

We are so proud of you, Kobe! Keep smashing it, superstar! 🌟🐾

🐶💦 Another fully booked day in our Rehab Centre! 💦🐶

We had lots of gorgeous dogs through our doors today, all working hard and absolutely smashing their underwater treadmill sessions! 🐾💙

The underwater treadmill is a brilliant way to exercise and rehabilitate dogs while the water helps take some of the pressure off their joints.

Some of the benefits include:

💦 Building muscle strength
🐾 Improving balance and coordination
💙 Supporting sore or stiff joints
💦 Encouraging a better walking pattern
🐾 Helping with recovery after injury or surgery
💙 Keeping older dogs mobile and active

The gorgeous Cilla Black popped by our stand to say hello today! 🖤🐾

Cilla is a regular at both our Doggy Fun Pool and Underwater Treadmill, where she attends fitness and conditioning sessions to help keep her strong and fit for agility. It was so lovely getting to see her in action today and showing off her skills in the agility ring - what a wee superstar! ⭐🐶💦

🐾 WHAT IS WINBACK THERAPY? 🐾

Winback, or TECAR therapy, uses radiofrequency energy as part of a therapeutic treatment approach.

In canine rehabilitation, it may be used to help support tissue recovery, circulation and comfort, alongside appropriate exercise and other therapies.

Every dog is different, so we assess their movement, pain, condition and stage of recovery before creating an individual treatment plan.

Winback isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment — it’s one of the tools we can use as part of a multimodal approach to canine rehabilitation and pain management. 🐾
