Hi everyone! 👋

I thought it was about time I introduced myself & Poppy.

I’m the owner and the face behind Poppy’s Pet Care, and this gorgeous girl is Poppy – the inspiration behind the business and my biggest reason for doing what I do. 🐾💛

Poppy has taught me just how much our pets mean to us. They’re not “just animals” – they’re family. That’s exactly why I created Poppy’s Pet Care: to give every pet the same love, patience, and care that I’d want for my own.

Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, puppy care, or simply keeping your furry friend company while you’re away, you can trust they’ll be treated like one of my own.

Building relationships with both pets and their owners is my favourite part of what I do, and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s supported Poppy’s Pet Care so far. Every booking, recommendation, and kind word means the world.

We’re excited to announce that Poppy’s Pet Care now offers Home Boarding! 💚

Instead of kennels, your dog will enjoy a loving home-from-home experience, staying with Poppy in a safe, family environment where they’ll receive plenty of one-to-one care, attention and cuddles.

🐶 What we offer:
✔️ Only 1 small to medium dog boarded at a time
✔️ Daily walks and enrichment
✔️ Home comforts and lots of love
✔️ Feeding to their usual routine
✔️ Daily photo updates for complete peace of mind

💷 Prices
🐾 Day Boarding – £30 per day
🌙 Overnight Boarding – £35 per night

🐕 Please note: Dogs must be friendly and well socialised, as they’ll be staying with Poppy in a family home.

Life doesn’t always go to plan… meetings run over, work finishes later than expected, or you decide on a last-minute night away. That’s where Poppy’s Pet Care can help! 💚

We do offer ad hoc appointments, subject to availability, for both dog walking and home pet care visits.

💡 The best way to be prepared?

Arrange your FREE Meet & Greet in advance. Once we’ve met you and your pet, completed your registration, and gathered all the important information we need, we’ll have your details on file. This means that when unexpected plans arise, you can simply contact us to request an ad hoc appointment, and if we have availability, we’ll do our best to help.

A Meet & Greet is essential before any services can begin, as it allows us to:
🐾 Get to know you and your pet.
🐾 Learn about their routine, personality and individual needs.
🐾 Discuss feeding, medication and any special requirements.
🐾 Go over home access and security arrangements.
🐾 Ensure your pet feels comfortable with us before their first visit or walk.
