Unfortunately we have some very sad news to share.
Our beautiful Bonnie took unwell yesterday evening, despite multiple vet visits last night she failed to respond to any of treatment.
We are all absolutely devastated that she didn’t make it. Billie, Nigel and I were all with her until the end and would like to pass our thanks on to Keith at Clare vets for his care and support during this very difficult time.
Bonnie has been with us right from the start and was an absolute favourite, teaching many children how to ride in her years with. She will be dearly missed.

Saying goodbye is truly the hardest part of having a horse. 💔 Fly high sweetheart 🐎 🪽

Tonight’s lessons are all being rescheduled - instructor will be in touch to rearrange.
Tomorrow night training show is postponed to Friday 11 September. All entries will be carried forward. If new date doesn’t suit please advise and can arrange credit or refund.

Last few places available for this incoming week

This year’s summer camp will be running from Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th August 2026, 10am to 2pm.
Children can book in for individual days or a discounted rate is available if booking in for all 4 days.
We are planning an exciting week where children will learn how to care for their pony and improve their riding skills through group lessons and games.
On the final day we will have a mini show with a simple dressage test and short course of jumps.
For our younger and more novice riders we are running a junior camp day on Friday 7th August. We envisage this being a fun day aimed at building basic skills and confidence with more one to one assistance for those that need it.
There will be goody bags and rosettes for everyone taking part.
All children should wear appropriate clothing/footwear and bring a waterproof coat. Children should bring a packed lunch.

Congratulations to the Beechgrove team who had a pretty good day at Antrim show yesterday!
Lots of ribbons and a fantastic experience for ponies and kids! (….and the slightly bigger ones!)
Unfortunately I didn’t get photos of everyone but well done to you all lots of preparation and hard work paid off, you all looked fab! 🐎⚡️👏 👏

A few tears last night as the lovely Willow retired from the riding school at 26yrs young!
She will be very much missed and has taught many children to ride over the last few years but I’m sure you’ll all agree she has earned her retirement 🐎 🧡
