🎈 Hot Air Balloon Update – Sunday Morning 🎈

Unfortunately, due to the wet weather forecast, it is unlikely that hot air balloons will be able to fly tomorrow morning (Sunday 6 September).

We’re so pleased to have been able to enjoy a magical evening of balloon flights tonight, and we’d like to thank you all for your patience and understanding throughout the weekend as we’ve navigated the changeable conditions.

We hope you all have a wonderful day visiting tomorrow, and we look forward to seeing you there! 🎈✨

🎈 Hot air balloon update - Saturday evening 🎈

Good news! The hot air balloons will be flying this evening (Saturday 5 September). They will take off shortly after the parachute display team performance in the closing ceremony.

We are continuing to monitor the conditions for tomorrow morning’s flights.

A final decision will be made later this afternoon based on the weather conditions.

Unfortunately, due to the continued high winds, the hot air balloons will not be flying tomorrow morning (Saturday 5 September).

We are continuing to monitor the conditions for tomorrow evening’s flights - however it is looking more promising! 🙌

A final decision will be made tomorrow afternoon based on the weather conditions.

Polite reminder! 🎈

If you would like to watch the hot air balloons take off on Friday, Saturday or Sunday mornings of the Country Fair, you must park in the West car park, only accessed via the entrance off the B6012 at Edensor. Please do not enter via the Golden Gates entrance in Baslow.

You do not need a country fair ticket to park to view the balloons. The balloons cannot be viewed from any other car park and the West car park cannot be accessed from any other entrance.

Please do not park on the grass verges and side roads around the estate, as you will be asked to move on.
