Did someone say "holiday"? 🐾☀️

Just a quick hello from The Dog House - Girvan — your dog's home-from-home while you're away.

I've still got a few spaces left over the coming weeks, including some short-notice and last-minute slots for those surprise trips, work emergencies, or "I didn't realise the school holidays had crept up" moments. 😅

🐶 Home boarding in my family home — not a kennel 🏡 Small numbers, so your dog gets plenty of one-to-one cuddles and a calm routine 🚗 Daily walks, garden playtime, and photos sent to you (because we know you'll miss them!) 🩺 Fully licensed and insured — your dog is in safe, loving hands 📜 Same diet, same routine, same happy pup when you come home

Ideal for:

Holidays and weekends away
Work trips and long shifts
Emergency cover when plans change suddenly
Settling-in trial stays before a longer booking
📍 Based in Girvan Email me on [email protected] for availability 🗓️ Short-notice bookings welcome — drop me a line and I'll do my best to fit you in

Thank you so much to everyone who's trusted me with their four-legged family members so far. It's a genuine privilege to look after them. 💛

If you're not away yourself but know someone scrambling for cover, feel free to share this post — I'd be very grateful. 🐕❤️

We’re pleased to announce that our Nae Fireworks Night event is returning this year on Sunday 5th of November!
If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to get away and walk your dog(s), in the company of other like-minded owners, then Whitelee Windfarm is the place for you. The Whitelee Countryside Rangers, Whitelee Visitor Centre and ScottishPower Renewables staff will be on site to run the event and do our very best to maintain a firework-free zone - although please understand this can never be fully guaranteed! We recommend that dogs are kept on leads during the event.
Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre will be open to dogs, and owners, for hot drinks and cake from 6-9pm - don't forget to bring your re-usable cup to receive a discount off your hot drink and help us reduce our waste.
For more details including opening times and helpful information for visiting please follow the link:

As always – spread the word that fireworks are not permitted at Whitelee windfarm. They pose a danger to site infrastructure, can cause peatbog fires, and cause distress to the sites wildlife and livestock, as well as visitors…so please don’t bring them.
