Today was a little bittersweet. 💛

This beautiful girl is Jupiter, but we've all been calling her Juju. I've had the pleasure of fostering her for the last 3 weeks, and today she had a little pamper and groom before heading off to her forever home tomorrow. 🥹✨

Juju was rescued from the Chinese meat trade at around 8 years old by The Big 3 Rescue. They gave her a second chance at life and worked tirelessly to find her the most wonderful home, where she'll now be loved alongside another canine companion.

I've been volunteering with The Big 3 Rescue for a little while now, and all of my own dogs have also come from China after enduring unimaginable conditions. Despite everything they've been through, they continue to amaze me with their resilience, love, and capacity to trust again.

If you've ever thought about adopting and are happy to cover the flight costs, I genuinely can't recommend The Big 3 Rescue enough. Every adoption changes a life—not just the dog's, but yours too. ❤️

🐾 A very special Sunday groom 🐾

I don't usually work Sundays, but when Silver Fox Rescue were looking for a dog groomer in Aylesbury, I had to reach out. 💛

Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about rescue. That's one of the reasons I work with The Big 3 Rescue, but honestly, it doesn't matter which rescue organisation you are – if you're doing your best to help dogs in need, I'm always happy to support where I can. 🐶✨

Meet beautiful Zelda. 🩷 She's around 6 years old and, sadly, has been used for breeding. She hasn't had the best start in life and can be quite easily spooked, so today was all about patience, kindness and working at her pace.

We took plenty of breaks, moved on to different areas when she'd had enough, and I left her face until the very end as it's not her favourite part. Considering we'd never met before, she did absolutely amazing and I'm so proud of her. 🥹

Dogs like Zelda deserve the world. 🌎💕

She's not on the rescue website just yet, but she will be soon, and when she is, I truly hope her perfect person finds her.

Rescue dogs have so much love to give – sometimes they just need someone willing to be patient and show them that humans can be kind. ❤️
