It is with utter sadness that I write this tribute for the most precious girl , darling Lucy , who after becoming unwell was let pass away with dignity. Fast asleep having the sweetest dreams of her many adventures with her special family .
Laura , I am so sorry for your lost as and the pain that you are all going through. I know all of your hearts have completely broken. Lucy was not just a family member , she was your children’s best friend. But boy did she live a wonderful life , she enjoyed every second of everyday , she knew she was loved and adored and she couldn’t have asked for a more perfect family. I have no doubt she is watching over you all …she will always be with you, deep in your hearts and memories ♥️ Sophia and George , Lucy Cat will always be your best friend, you were both her favourite people in the whole wide world , keep thinking about all of your happy adventures together , those thoughts will keep you together always.
Lucy, Lucy Lou, Lucy Cat , such a beautiful girl with the most stunning little face. She really was so pretty. When I first met Lucy in February 2018 she came in with a bang . Partied so hard everyday . Rolling around in her tent, biting holes in the side of it, chasing Bertie Butterfly , chewing through Me String, flinging toys of the top of the tent , wrestling fishy and Banana and demolishing Frankie feather. She was excited from the moment she woke up. Lucy would sometimes get a shakey leg when that excitement got too much. Always showing me that beautiful tummy , tempting me to have a go but I knew “ no touchy “. I would often see her scraping the walls just for fun and I’ll never forget her cat flap dance , I laugh out loud when I watch that video back. She loved you unconditionally and always liked to lay with her head on me . Lucy Cats favourite trick though was to nibble my legs , anything below the knee was fair game🤣
But when I looked after Lucy this summer she was sooooo chilled , all she wanted was to love and be loved . She was my shadow , and couldn’t walk past me without leaning in for a snuggle. She would raise her head looking deep into my eyes waiting for her kiss. There were never enough kisses for Lucy Cat. She made me feel so special and I hope I did her .
