What a lovely day at Woof Fest today!

The weather was beautiful, although definitely getting a little too hot for the dogs at times. Thankfully the owners were all very sensible and responsible with them.

It was a really good day for K9 Glow Up — lots of nails trimmed, plenty of business cards and leaflets taken and, most importantly, I came away with a new grooming booking!

It was lovely meeting Lauren & Beth from Rootophia They were so welcoming and it was great to meet them.

I was also really pleased to be next to Fireflies Flyball Team, my old team! It was lovely catching up with everyone and they even helped me pack everything away at the end of the day, which was very much appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who came over for a chat, took a leaflet or brought their dog over for a nail trim. It was lovely meeting so many of you.

A little K9 Glow Up catch-up.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, so I thought it was about time I shared a few things.

First up, a big well done to Olive the Saint Bernedoodle who has graduated from her puppy sessions! She’s done brilliantly, and it was lovely to see her receive her very own puppy gift bag and certificate.

I’ve also been incredibly lucky to have a steady stream of new clients joining the K9 Glow Up family, thanks to all the lovely recommendations from my existing clients. It genuinely means so much to me — word of mouth really is the best compliment.

I also had a lovely day yesterday at the Horizons Agility Summer Shindig, meeting lots of lovely dogs and their owners and getting stuck in with some nail trims and grooming advice.

I’ll be doing the same again at Woof Fest in Attleborough on Sunday 6th September, so if you’re there, please come and say hello.

I’m not always very good at keeping up with social media — if I’m honest, I’d much rather spend my time practising my grooming skills, learning new techniques and taking on extra training!

Olive, the Saint Bernedoodle puppy, is doing great with her puppy introduction sessions. Yesterday, was session two of three and after five minutes of some desensitising to the bath stool and the running water, she was ready to take the plunge and have a bath!

I can’t wait to present Olive (and her owners) with a goody bag and graduation certificate in two weeks time, after her third and final puppy introduction session.
