Volunteers are crucial to the running of our sport and them events cannot take place! You will be provided with lunch and refreshments throughout the day and be well looked after!

Aston Le Walls tomorrow, Thursday.

British Eventing are monitoring the temperatures closely and working with the team at Aston to ensure the appropriate measures are in place.

We are also starting earlier, and we strongly suggest travelling early where possible, while temperatures are cooler.

The ground is excellent, there is plenty of shade around the venue and, at present, there is a good breeze. The organisers also have horse showers and additional cool-down facilities available and have experience of running in these conditions from there events earlier this year.

Looking at the Met Office hour-by-hour temperatures for tomorrow:

6:00am – 16°C
8:00am – 20°C
10:00am – 28°C
1:00pm – 32°C
3:00pm – 34°C
If anyone is concerned about the temperatures, we suggest contacting Aston regarding stabling, either on site or locally, and travelling earlier.
Importantly, this is not a red warning. British Eventing and the Aston team are continuing to monitor the conditions and will work together to ensure the welfare of the horses remains the priority.
