If you’re looking for a kind, genuine, and versatile all-rounder, then meet King.
With a full, known history, King has been in his current home for the last two years, where he has enjoyed a varied lifestyle including Pony Club, showing, hacking, and general riding club activities. Before that, he was lovingly produced by his previous owners from a foal, competing at low-level dressage, attending Pony Club, taking part in cross-country, and enjoying fun rides.
King is a pleasure to have on the yard with a lovely, kind nature. He is well schooled in all three paces, works willingly, and is an easy, enjoyable ride.
He confidently jumps a course of around 60cm, happily taking fillers and water trays in his stride. He has shown plenty of scope to progress further, although this hasn’t been explored in his current home.
Like many horses, King can become a little anxious if left alone in the stable or when other horses leave him. However, he is perfectly settled when stabled or turned out with company. Since beginning his trial period, he has already become noticeably more relaxed, suggesting this will continue to improve once he’s settled into a consistent routine in his new home.
King was previously treated for gastric ulcers, which resolved successfully. He has remained healthy since with no recurrence and has no other known health issues.
King would make a lovely family pony or Pony Club partner for someone wanting a genuine, kind-hearted horse to enjoy a bit of everything with. He is now ready to find his next forever home where he can continue making happy memories.
