Yesterday we said a sad goodbye to Axel and his family.

Axel joined the Pawsitive family as his guardians were struggling with adolescence and his sudden difficulty with listening.

Fast forward six weeks and their bond is strengthened, Axel’s lead walking and jumping up has greatly improved.

Spot the difference!

Here’s our two most recent graduates - Nellie and Izzy. A pair of beautiful golden retrievers who absolutely smashed Puppy Skills. These two girlies were the same age and started the same week - much to my confusion at times!

They both gave the best cuddles though!

It’s National Pet Day and what better way to celebrate than to share our most recent graduate.

Beautiful 16 week old Izzy and her guardians have smashed out our Puppy Skills course, rounding their sessions off with some semi off lead time on the beach and in the woods. Izzy took wonderfully to the hand touch and has an amazing bond with her guardians.

She’s been an absolute delight to work with and I’m certainly gonna miss my Izzy cuddles!

Happy National Terrier Day to all our tenacious terriers in the Pawsitive family, the most recent of whom is the gorgeous Maisie, who has been rescued and certainly landed on all four paws with her new family.

My 1:1 puppy programme is designed to fit around your schedule, not the other way round. Sessions are arranged at times that work for you and your household, making it much easier to stay consistent during those important early weeks.

Because this is a one-to-one programme, we can go far more in depth than a group class allows. We focus on what your puppy needs right now, whether that’s lead skills, settling at home, handling, confidence building, or navigating everyday life together.

You’ll also have the opportunity for personalised troubleshooting. If something isn’t quite clicking, we can break it down, adjust the approach, and work through it together rather than trying to fit your puppy into a one-size-fits-all plan.

It’s Train Your Dog Month, and I hear this all the time: “I just don’t have the time to train my dog.”
