Welcome to North Downs Hounds Mr Fitz! Fitz is a lovely gentle Irish Terrier. He’ll be joining me for daily walks and today was his first! He’s very friendly and a joy to walk. He’s looking forward to meeting some new friends too when he’s settled!

Ashford community dog walk kicks off next week, who will be joining us?!

Myself from North Downs Hounds and Eleanor from EB Dog Walking & Services are starting these walks as a great way for local dog owners to meet and socialise, as well as pick our brains for any doggy advice!

There are off lead socialisation groups in Ashford, but we know this doesn’t work for all dogs. The idea of these walks are perfect for owners who would like their dogs to stay on lead, practice walking calmly around other dogs or practice neutrality training.

Please note: We aren't professional trainers and won't be training the dogs during the walk, but it's a great setup to practice your own training in a controlled environment.

This is an on lead event and on lead dog greetings should be approved by both owners. All dogs are welcome however we must exclude aggressive dogs. You are responsible for your own dogs during the event.

🐾 Wednesday 9th September
🐾 Victoria park meet at the fountain
🐾 6-7pm (come and go as you please!)

Myself and Eleanor will carry water and a first aid kit, as well as a few treats!

This is a fun and relaxed walk and we’re very excited! We look forward to seeing some local doggies!

It’s been a bit quiet and depressing around here with van gate! I enjoyed my morning walk with Kody, although he did miss Phoebe!

Phoebe has been outed, her secret is no longer hidden- she’s a serial dater!!

Phoebe is a North Downs Hounds resident heartbreaker 💔 and has been two timing labradoodle Ted and golden retriever Kody!!

Phoebe first met Ted when he joined for group walks, they hit it off right away, but let’s say Ted is more reserved. He joins in with zoomies with Phoebe and follows her around but has never put in the moves.

Phoebe obviously likes a more upfront confident approach and so has now started flirting with Kody! Kody is definitely more open with his feelings and they snog every time they meet. I have to tell them to get a room and stop with the PDA!

Who will be Phoebes next victim?

We have spaces available on groups walks which may or may not feature Phoebe!
