🐾💜 TWO SISTERS. ONE SPECIAL BOND. CAN YOU HELP THEM FIND A HOME TOGETHER? 💜🐾

Some things belong together.

For Bella and Tabitha, that means finding a home with room for both of them. These beautiful eight-year-old sisters are very bonded — and their next chapter needs to be one they share. 💜

Bella is in charge of introductions. 🖤
With her glossy black coat and wonderfully gentle nature, she loves a fuss, a head bump and, given the chance, a lovely lap to curl up on.

Her sister Tabitha prefers to check your references first. 🤎
This beautiful tabby will quietly watch from the sidelines while she decides whether you’re worthy of her attention.

Pass the assessment, though, and she’s very happy to be stroked, fussed over and admired. Apparently, good humans are worth the wait. 🥹

Two different personalities.
Two gentle companions.
One home where they can feel safe, loved and settled together.

Their wish list is simple:

A quieter home, where any children are older.
🐾 No other cats or dogs.
🌿 A safe garden for daytime exploring once fully settled.
💜 Someone who will welcome Bella’s cuddles and give Tabitha time to build her trust.

They’ll arrive neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated, ready to begin their new lives.

Could you be the person who makes room for these two lovely sisters?

In the care of Cats Protection Ashford & South Kent.
Find Bella & Tabitha and enquire here:

https://www.cats.org.uk/ashford-south-kent

And if you can’t offer them a home, please help their future family find them. 🙏💜

Somewhere, someone has a quiet house, a welcoming lap and room in their heart for two.

They just haven’t met Bella and Tabitha yet.

Your share could be the moment that changes that. 🐾🏡

🐾💜 THEY FOUND SAFETY. NOW THEY NEED SOMEONE TO CALL THEM FAMILY. 💜🐾

Underneath a shed was the first home Damson and Dexter knew.

No sofa to stretch out on. No warm lap to discover. Just two little kittens learning about a world where humans still felt frightening.

Today, thanks to their patient fosterers, their world looks very different.

There are soft beds, toys to chase and gentle hands. There is time to learn that they are safe, without anyone asking them to be braver than they feel.

Now they need a home where they can stay. Together.

💜 Meet Damson — already convinced that life should revolve around her.

Affectionate, confident and playful, she has discovered the joy of strokes and a welcoming lap. She’ll happily supervise your day, help with absolutely nothing and remind you when treats are overdue.

💜 Meet Dexter — learning to trust, one little moment at a time.

He loves playing, exploring and being near his humans. Fuss still needs to happen on his terms, and he’ll need someone who can enjoy his company without rushing him.

You don’t need to win him over on day one. You just need to give him time.

Together, they chase, wrestle, snooze and investigate things that are quite clearly none of their business. Any household chaos is, naturally, somebody else’s fault. 🐾

They are siblings, best friends and partners in crime. After everything they have learned together, their next adventure needs to be together too.

Their forever home will need:

💜 A calm environment where they can settle at their own pace
💜 Patience while Dexter continues building confidence
💜 Affection for Damson and plenty of playtime for both
💜 No dogs
💜 A lifelong place in the family for two

Somewhere, there is someone who will love Damson’s confidence and treasure Dexter’s quieter steps forward.

Someone who will look at these two and see the family members they’ve been missing.

Could that someone be you?

Can’t offer them a home? Please help their future family find them.

Share their story, tag someone who might be the right match or leave a little 💜 to show them some love.

You may never meet the person who adopts them. But it could be your share that puts these two little faces in front of them.

They began their lives beneath a shed. Let’s help their next chapter begin with:

“You’re home now, Damson and Dexter. Both of you.” 💜🐾

🐾 WINTER IS APPROACHING. PLEASE HELP US RESCUE MORE LOCAL CATS. 💜

Here in Ashford, our volunteers help stray and feral cats, arrange neutering and find them homes suited to their needs.

Some will become much-loved pets. Others need working homes, where they can live independently with shelter, regular meals and someone looking out for them.

They may never curl up on a lap, but they still deserve somewhere safe to belong.

📸 The photo shows how we help working cats settle: two large dog crates connected together, with places to hide and rest, food, water and a litter tray.

This temporary set-up stays at their new home for 2–3 weeks, helping them become familiar with their surroundings before release.

But we only own TWO crates — enough for just ONE set-up. While they’re in use, we have no spare pair to help other cats settle elsewhere.

With winter approaching, we urgently need more crates to help more local cats take this next step towards a safe future.

💜 Please donate whatever you can:
https://www.justgiving.com/page/ashford-and-south-kent-cats-protection-dog-crates

We’re a small, volunteer-run branch, and every donation brings us closer to another complete set-up. These crates can be used again and again, helping cats long after this winter.

If you can’t donate, please share this appeal. Someone on your friends list could help provide the next pair of crates — and a new beginning for a cat who needs us.

They’re part of our community too. Please help us look out for them. 🐾💜

💜 SHE’S HAPPY TO GREET EVERY VISITOR. NOW OPHELIA NEEDS SOMEONE TO COME FOR HER. 💜

Whenever someone visits her foster pen, little Ophelia is ready to say hello — hoping for a fuss, some attention and a little time together.

This petite, gentle girl loves company. At five years old, she’s ready to find a family of her own and a home where those lovely moments become everyday life.

Imagine being the person she greets each morning. The familiar voice she hears. The family who finally gets to say, “You’re home, Ophelia.” 💜

Her ideal home:
🐾 A peaceful, cat-friendly household, without lively younger children.
🐾 She has positive experience with other cats.
🐾 She is untested with dogs.
🐾 A safe garden to explore gradually, once she’s fully settled — she has previously lived indoors.

Ophelia is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms.

💜 PLEASE SHARE — even if you can’t offer her a home.

Somewhere, there could be someone whose quiet home is missing exactly this little cat. Your share could help them find her.

She’s ready to say hello. Let’s help her find the person who stays. 💜

💜🐾 URGENT ADOPTION APPEAL: TWO LITTLE SOULS. ONE HOME. TOGETHER. 🐾💜

Gizmo and Kuromi already have each other. Now they need someone who will choose them both.

We’re helping our friends at Cats Protection South East Kent find a loving home for this sweet bonded pair.

Both are only around two years old, with so much life ahead of them — and so much companionship to offer the person who gives them a chance.

🧡 Gizmo is a handsome ginger boy who’s a little shy at first. Once he knows you, he enjoys being made a fuss of. He just needs someone willing to let that trust grow at his pace.

🖤🤍 Kuromi is his beautiful, sweet-natured black-and-white companion. She’s looking for her next chapter with Gizmo by her side.

Their future needs to be together.

Two beds in the same home. Two familiar faces waiting when you walk through the door. Two cats who can settle into a new life without losing each other. 💜

Their perfect home would offer:

🐾 An adult-only household.
🐾 No other cats or dogs — just these two.
🐾 Access to outdoors once settled.
🐾 Patience, kindness and time to feel at home.

Both are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms. Their adoption also includes four weeks’ free pet insurance.

💜 THANK YOU — YOU KEEP OUR CATS FED, COMFY & CARED FOR 🐾

Just look what has arrived for our cats! 🥹

A huge thank you to Nicola Williams for these wonderful donations of food, litter and goodies.

It can be easy to look at a bag of food or cat litter and think it’s only a small donation.

To a little volunteer-run branch like ours, it really isn’t.

With around 15–20 cats coming through our care each month, we get through an enormous amount of food, litter and everyday essentials. Every item donated is one less thing our branch has to buy — which means our funds can stretch further to help the cats who need us most. 💜

And that brings us to a little favour…

🛒 OUR AMAZON WISHLIST NEEDS YOU!

If you’ve ever wondered how you can directly help the cats in our care, our wishlist contains the everyday things our fosterers and cats genuinely need.

You don’t need to spend a fortune. One bag of food. One pack of litter. One little item. It all adds up when a community gets behind us.

📦 Items can be ordered from the comfort of your sofa and delivered directly to help our branch.

If you can’t donate, please share this post. Someone on your friends list might just fancy buying breakfast for a rescue cat today. 🐱💜

👇 We’ll pop our Amazon Wishlist link in the comments.

And once again, thank you Nicola and everyone who quietly sends things our way. You might never meet all the little faces you help, but please know that your kindness reaches them. 🐾💜

🐾💜 26 MILES. 26 TINY CATS. ONE EXTRAORDINARY CHALLENGE! 💜🐾

In 2027, two of our wonderful volunteers will be taking on the TCS London Marathon for Cats Protection!

🏃 Rob — one of our fosterers, who opens his home to cats needing safety and care.

🏃 Paul — one of our TNR volunteers, helping stray and feral cats throughout our community.

But we aren’t planning an ordinary marathon…

Paul will attempt to complete the marathon carrying a 7.5kg cat trap containing 26 small soft-toy cats.

At 26 prearranged points along the route, one tiny cat will be taken from the trap and “adopted” by a waiting family — creating a 26-mile adoption event and a potential Guinness World Record attempt!

The challenge will represent the stray and feral cats who are still waiting for their own chance of safety, care and somewhere to call home.

We have our 5th Cat Donated, thank you so very much!

We still need more small soft-toy cats. Each one must be no bigger than the palm of your hand and can be new or pre-loved.

You can also help get Rob and Paul to the starting line by donating:

💜 Support Rob:
https://2027tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/rob-austen

💜 Support Paul:
https://2027tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/paul-harnett

Please donate, share and help us turn 26 tiny cats into one enormous message for the forgotten stray and feral cats of our community. 🐱🐾

🐾💜 **FROM UNDERNEATH A SHED TO THE EDGE OF SOMEONE’S SOFA…** 💜🐾

Damson and Dexter began their lives outside, hidden beneath a shed and unsure whether humans could be trusted.

They had never known the comfort of a home. They didn’t understand gentle hands, warm beds or the strange human obsession with buying expensive toys when an empty cardboard box is clearly superior.

But their fosterers gave them something incredibly important:

Time.

Slowly, the frightened kittens began to change.

Damson discovered that strokes are wonderful, laps make excellent resting places and humans can be persuaded to provide treats on demand. She is affectionate, confident, playful and likely to supervise every decision made in her future home.

Dexter has travelled the same journey at his own gentler pace. He loves playing, exploring and spending time near his humans, but he may still need patience while he learns that he is safe. He isn’t always ready for fuss—and that’s absolutely okay.

Together, they chase, wrestle, investigate, snooze and create mysterious household “incidents” for which neither accepts responsibility.

They are siblings, best friends and partners in crime, so they are looking for a forever home together. 🐾🐾

Their ideal home will offer:

💜 Plenty of patience while Dexter continues building confidence
💜 Love and affection whenever Damson demands it
💜 Lots of playtime and room for zoomies
💜 A calm environment where they can settle at their own pace
💜 No dogs
💜 A lifelong home for them both

These two kittens were once living underneath a shed.

Now they sit together watching the world through a window, waiting for the people who will make them part of their family.

Could those people be you?

If you cannot adopt, please don’t simply scroll past them.

Like, comment, tag and share. Every interaction helps their story reach further—and their forever humans could be just one share away.

Let’s make sure the next chapter of their story begins with the words:

“Welcome home, Damson and Dexter.” 💜🐾

🐾💜 SECOND CHANCE SUNDAY: 17 CATS. 17 NEW LIVES. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY. 💜🐾

This month, another 17 cats left our care and travelled home with families of their very own.

Another seventeen carriers were packed.
Another seventeen emotional goodbyes were whispered.
And another 17 cats who once had no idea what their futures held were carried through a new front door — this time, to stay. 🥹

Some arrived frightened and unsure of the world. Some had suddenly become homeless through no fault of their own. Others simply waited quietly, hoping somebody would stop and notice them.

And somebody did.

Because somewhere along the way, you helped them to be seen.

Every like, comment, share and tag carried their stories further — perhaps directly to the person who looked at their face and thought:

“That’s the one. That’s my cat.”

You may never meet the cat whose life you helped change, but those small acts of kindness became something enormous:

Another 17 cats are now sleeping safely in their new homes. 💜

For our small volunteer-run branch, your support isn’t simply a number on a post. It helps cats find the people who will love them — and every adoption creates space for another cat who so desperately needs us.

To our adopters, fosterers, volunteers, supporters and everyone who liked, commented, tagged or shared:

You helped make these 17 second chances possible.

And to our wonderful October graduates…

May your new lives be filled with warm beds, sunny windows, full bowls, gentle hands and more love than you ever imagined possible.

Go and live the happiest, safest and most wonderful lives. You’ve earned every moment. 🐾💜

Now, let’s help create our November graduates.

Please share this post and take a look at the cats still waiting for somebody to choose them:

https://www.cats.org.uk/ashford-south-kent

Their person could be just one share away. 💜
