IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

There will be a change of times for the socials this Sunday (23rd August).

Small-medium dogs at 9am (usually midday)

Medium-Large dogs at 10am (usually 1pm)

This is for 1 Sunday only and we resume normal times on 30th August.

As this is only for 1 week, I will leave the booking calendar the same and message each booking to check they're aware of the morning time. So book for your usual group but only if you can attend in the morning.

Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

Raggles update... He has a new friend... Arnie (on the right) and they both love terrier play 😍 This is Rag's first "bro" friend and it's given me hope that, with time, he can overcome his fear-reactivity to unknown dog's.

He's still looking for a home 🥹... Ideally one that can continue his training and socialisation 🤞

Raggles has a new friend 😍 although Tilly may not agree ... He knows she doesn't like having her rear end sniffed, so he does it anyway 🙄 (and adds a few paw prods for good measure)... He wants her to chase him but then he instantly regrets it 🤣

Beautiful inside and out, kind, hardworking, and loved by everyone who knows her—especially the dogs she works with, who absolutely adore her. We're so proud of the amazing young woman you've become.

Wishing you a birthhday weekend filled with love, laughter, and memories to treasure. Here's to the next exciting chapter and everything the future has in store.

A Rags update: foster dog is still with me 😲 and we've been working very hard on loose leash walking and not losing his mind whenever he sees another dog.

He's making really good progress 🥹

There must be someone out there with a Raggles shaped space in their lives?

Socials are back on tomorrow!

Booking is recommended as we had last Sunday off work and the dogs are itching to see their friends, so I expect it will be busy.

Pics of Sophie and crew trying to get the dogs to run towards me for a photo... Yep failed! 😂😂.. But we had a lot of fun trying!

Sorry for all the Raggles posts but I rarely have a day off so I'm catching up on the past week.

Recall: we've been practicing 😎

Raggles had never been off-lead in an outdoor environment so he'd never practiced recall before ... This was more of an advantage than you'd imagine. I only had to make sure the first dozen recalls were rewarded highly and his response to recall is now pretty good.

This video demonstrates recall from play (at a distance) and recall from chase but we didn't start here. I started by recalling him from low stimulus distractions so that I could build the recall/reward habit before moving on to more stimulating distractions (birds are next on my list... Raggles wants to rid the world of pigeons 🙈)

We will also be practising recall in different environments, where he is already more distracted.....follow the page to watch his progress.
