If you don’t have full control of your dog when it is off the lead, don’t let it off!
My dog is friendly is not an excuse for not being able to control it.
If you let your dog off the lead knowing that the sight of another dog is going to be an issue for you to get it back, why are you letting it off?
This type of behaviour makes a walk for owners who are trying to be responsible stressful and unpleasant, especially if they own a dog that can be reactive or nervous of others.
Please be considerate of other dog owners and be aware that not all dogs have to meet or come into contact with each other.
