Meet Nelson! 💛
At just 8 months old, this gorgeous boy is a bundle of goofy Labrador joy! Full of love, character and typical puppy enthusiasm! He’s a big lad with an even bigger heart, and he’s looking for a family who will help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he’s destined to be. 🐶
💕 A little bit about Nelson…
🐾 A social boy – Nelson loves people and is friendly around other dogs.
🎓 Still learning – His recall is coming along nicely, but like any young dog, he’ll need continued training, consistency and patience as he matures. He also is getting used to travelling and can dribble on longer journeys.
🏡 A good boy at home – He’s house-trained, sleeps well through the night and, with a good balance of exercise and mental stimulation, settles nicely at home without being destructive.
❤️ A loving shadow – Nelson can be a little needy and loves to follow his people around to see what’s going on. He’ll suit a home where he can be included in family life and isn’t left alone for long periods.
🌳 An active lifestyle – He’s a typical bouncy young Labrador who needs regular exercise, enrichment and ongoing training. At 34kg already, he’s a substantial boy, so his future family will need to be comfortable managing a large, enthusiastic youngster!
👨👩👧 Family life – Nelson has lived with young children, but because of his size and bouncy nature, a home with older, dog-savvy children would be best.
🐕 A canine companion? – Nelson settles well with another dog, so he could be particularly suited to a home with a friendly, compatible canine companion.
🩺 Health and care – He’s doing well on his current food, with no known food sensitivities or health issues. He is vaccinated and microchipped.
✨ What Nelson is looking for
A loving, active home ready to embrace all the fun (and occasional chaos!) that comes with a young Labrador. Someone willing to continue his training, provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation, and give him the time, companionship and guidance he needs to thrive.
