It’s so tempting to give up these ‘renegade’ foxes 🦊. Will I?…. NEVER! I’m still feeding. 🤭🤭.
Thankfully, I’m as daft as a brush!!!😬😬😬😬
🤣🤣🤣. Sad but true. 🥳

DTG Lcgi could make room for this little lady yesterday afternoon. It was short notice, sadly my regular doggie client was poorly so had to cancel at short notice. Hence I could take on a new client who had been waiting. Thank you to both clients, firstly the client for letting me know about you having to postpone. Secondly to the awaiting ‘new’ client who juggled to get your doggie to me. ♥️♥️🐾🐾🐕🐕💕💕

DTG Lcgi had this cute pie in this week. Aww, so pretty, inside and out. ♥️♥️🐾🐾😍 just delicious!

DTG Lcgi had this new girl in Friday afternoon.
She was extremely anxious 😟 when she was on the grooming table. In fact she needed a muzzle!
This is because she didn’t trust me, didn’t want me to work on her. She wasn’t happy to be touched!
She very clearly needed to be groomed though for the good of her health.
This girl turned out to be a specialist groom.
By a specialist groom I mean, in this instance the dog isn’t focused on anything except escape by any means. Normal dog behaviour has gone. Danger looms…
She isn’t interested in sights, sounds, smells, treats, or exploring her environment.
Her brain has switched completely into bite, flight mode. Her focus is just to get out of this situation as quickly as possible.
Already the groomer is making assessments to keep the dog, 🐕 and themselves safe. Very important.
Before starting the groom I have to work on the dog’s mind, I need to change the dog’s mindset. I want the dog to calm. I want the dog to realise at this moment I am the ‘Alpha’. I have to communicate that I will keep the dog safe, taking that responsibility away from her. If you can achieve that, only then can you start the groom. It’s never easy, it’s takes education, and time. When achieved you get a much happier, relaxed 😎 dog.
Training and consistency is always key.
She is a very pretty girl, bless her.

Well what can I say, these 🦊’s are just not playing the game, they are so elusive. 🥹

However, on the upside, Mr DTG made it all the way to the dishwasher this evening!! 🥳🥳. Well done Mr DTG, I knew you could do it!! 🤣🤣🙃🙃🥳🥳
