Cat found in Top Valley area last night outside of Buzz Bingo.

Female unsure if neutered, tabby and white, young - estimated to be 7-8 months old and unfortunately no microchip😞

She is currently safe with her founder, not at the practice.

We will try and get medication requests done as soon as possible but with us being closed over this weekend, we won’t be back open until Tuesday.

Medication requested today and tomorrow will be ready from Tuesday next week!

💙JUNE BRAVE HEART 2026💙

This months Braveheart goes too…

🌟 Sydney🌟

Over the last few months Sydney has been back and forth to Arnold and Sherwood receiving treatment for a de-gloving injury. He’s been super brave despite the traumatic injury and we’re pleased to say he has recovered well!❤️‍🩹

He started off as a nervous boy when coming in but now he runs straight up to us, especially CCA Pam, we think she’s his favourite😉

Well done Sydney! Hopefully now you can get back to working on the farm! 🚜💛

❗️FOUND CAT❗️

We have had a cat bought into us that was involved in an RTA in the early hours of this morning. Unfortunately, the cat is deceased.

The cat is a female bengal, approximately 1-3 years old. She is microchipped but the microchip isn’t registered. She will stay with us for 2 weeks for an owner to come forward.

☀️⚠️ HEAT WARNING ⚠️ ☀️

It’s going to be a very warm week this week!

Heat stroke is deadly but so easily prevented!

With the temperatures continuing to rise, here are some tips to keep your pets safe in the heat:

✅ Make sure your pet has plenty of water and access to shade
✅ Damp towels for your pet to lie on to keep them cool
✅ Walk your dog either very early in the morning or late at night when it is cooler. Reduce the time of walks: shorter/less frequent.
✅ Test the temperature of the floor: place the palm of your hand on the floor for 5 seconds: if it is too hot for your hand then it is too hot for their paws!

❗️NEVER LEAVE YOUR PET IN A HOT CAR❗️
Even just 5 minutes in a hot car can be catastrophic. Simply leaving a window cracked or down is not enough!

🥵Signs of heatstroke are:
-Excessive drooling
-Vomiting
-Heavy panting
-Drowsiness
-Collapsing

If your pet shows any of these signs then you should:
✅Move them to a shaded area
✅Offer cold water
✅Wet their feet and ears with cold water
✅ Wet a towel with cold water and have them lie on it or put it on top of them. Keep checking the heat if the towel, if it gets warm remove it and rinse again with cold water.
✅Contact your vet as soon as possible
