Just thought I would show the process for doing the appliqué on the puppy bags.
Firstly I deconstruct the actual bag so they lie flat in the embroidery frame. Locate centre of one side and adhere to the stabiliser.
Photos 1: stitch placement line for fabric
2: place fabric and stitch outline
3 & 4 trim fabric to within 1 of outline
5: do satin stitch around design
Then it is change bobbin and main thread for the affix. I’ve not shown this as the client hasn’t given permission to do so, when they do I can show this process too. Client has chosen olive green bags with black moving flatcoat and affix in yellow gold they look very smart.
