UPDATE ON MOOSIES MEADOW CLOSURE

I can confirm work will start Tuesday the 8th September at dawn, so all bookings will have to be rescheduled or moved to the orchard.

If you have used the package to pay and you cancel these will go back on your package, if you have paid by card please use reschedule option to move to a few weeks later when i should be able to reopen.

If not paid you can just cancel.

The orchard will remain open if you wanted to book that instead, any problems let me know, and i apologise for the inconvenience but safety is my priority.

When i reopen Depends on the weather and how quickly the grass comes back, hopefully the field will be seeded within a few days of closing so hopefully open again wIthin 2 weeks.

Grass seed can take between 7 to 21 days to germinate but September is a good time to do it and hopefully i will only have to close for 2 weeks maximum!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

***UPDATE ON MOOSIES MEADOW CLOSURE
I can confirm work will start Tuesday the 8th September at dawn, so all bookings will have to be rescheduled or moved to the orchard.

At some point in the next few weeks i will have to close Moosies meadow for a few weeks and may have to cancel bookings at short notice.

This is because i have to have the field cut and then the field will be harrowed and reseeded. I will not reopen it until the grass has started to come through, but hopefully this won't take long if the weather is kind to me.

The summer has caused cracks to form all over the field and as much as i have tried to keep the paths safe by filling cracks i cannot do this over the entire field. My priority is the safety of my clients and their dogs. A bit of rain will not fix this issue sadly.

The orchard will remain open, and i will reopen as soon as i can.

I cannot give you dates as this relies completely on the weather and the availability of the farmer to do the work.

I will hopefully be able to give you a few days notice when this begins.

I have also emailed everyone who is booked in over the next few weeks.

Holiday is going well 😁
Beautiful campsite, adults only, small and quiet with a beautiful lake to swim in and a secure area for dogs.
All dogs on leads at all times in the campsite, which is perfect.
4 swim's so far another just now at 7.30am 😁
Visited a friend in Symonds yatt and walked down the river, flea had a swim.
Just cooked dinner and watching the sun go down.

It's been a good and beautiful day 😁😁😁😁

AND MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION......

I AM GOING CAMPING FOR A FEW WEEKS. AND MAY NOT HAVE A SIGNAL AND WOULD LIKE A BREAK FROM THE PHONE AND COMPUTER.

I KNOW THE BOOKING SYTEM CAN HAVE ITS GLITCHES, I HAVE SOMEONE WORKING ON THIS.....

BUT THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH IT IS TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT, IT APPEARS TO BE EASIER THAT WAY

IF NOT WHEN YOU BOOK I SUGGEST KEEPING ALL YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAILS IN A DEDICATED FOLDER SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE BOOKED. YOU CAN CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE AND PAY FROM THE EMAILS.

IF YOU SEE ANY PROBLEMS IN THE FIELDS PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW BUT ONLY IF VERY IMPORTANT!

I DO HAVE 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE CHECKING THE FIELDS EVERY DAY AND A FRIEND STAYING OVERNIGHT (THEY WILL BE GONE BEFORE THE FIRST BOOKING) THEY WILL TRY AND KEEP THE BATHS FULL AND WATER IN THE SHED BUT IF YOU CAN TAKE YOUR OWN WATER THAT WOULD HELP WHILE I AM AWAY.

I WILL CHECK MY PHONE BUT I WONT HAVE ACCESS ALL DAY.

THE TOILET IN MOOSIES MEADOW WILL NOT BE IN USE FROM 22ND AUGUST TILL 6TH SEPTEMBER.......IT WILL BE LOCKED

BECAUSE I AM GOING AWAY I CANNOT ASK ANYONE ELSE TO DEAL WITH THE COMPOST LOO.

SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A POO BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME 🤣💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

Rain everywhere around us but not in bloody arlingham!

The only water in my field is my sweat and tears filling cracks and with sand 😭😭😭😭😭
I have absolutely hated this summer, fortnightly visits to physiotherapy to stop my body seizing up from shovelling 10 tonnes of sand 😭😭
Feeling defeated by the sun

2.54pm in the orchard watching the rain clouds rain everywhere except on my land 😭😭

Just drove home puddles in other villages but not arlingham!
