🐾 A little win for Mabel! 🐾

When I first met Mabel, she was very head shy and understandably nervous during grooming. After being rescued, she had matting around her ears and found trips to the groomers very stressful.

Since then, I’ve been visiting Mabel in the comfort of her own home for regular nail trims, ear cleaning, and gentle tidy-ups around her ears and legs. By taking everything at her pace and keeping each visit as calm and low stress as possible, we’ve slowly built her confidence.

Yesterday was a huge milestone. ❤️ Mabel was the most relaxed she’s ever been. She had no stress about having her ears groomed and was the calmest she’s been since we started working together.

This is my favourite part of the job. Building trust, being patient, and watching a pet become more comfortable with every visit is so rewarding.

Well done, Mabel. I’m so proud of you!

🐾 A lovely overnight with sweet Max 🐾

What a lovely night spent with this handsome senior gentleman. ❤️

At 14 years old, Max has arthritis, so keeping him comfortable and supporting his mobility is really important. Throughout the evening, I monitored how he was getting around, helped him up whenever he needed a hand after lying down, and made sure he received all of his medication.

We enjoyed plenty of cuddles on the sofa, a few well-earned treats, and a gentle wee dander around the back garden before settling in for the night.

It’s such a privilege to care for our senior pets and help them stay happy, comfortable, and safe in the place they know best.

🐾 Milo the Dachshund 🐾

Milo had a little pamper session today.

He has been struggling with some skin issues recently, so we discussed a few products that may help support his skin and coat, along with some things worth discussing with his vet at his next appointment.

As part of his visit, I cleaned his ears and expressed his a**l glands to help keep him comfortable and feeling his best. Skin issues can sometimes go hand in hand with ear irritation, so it’s always worth keeping an eye on both.

Milo absolutely loved all the fuss and attention and was more than happy to be rewarded with plenty of treats throughout his appointment.

Skin concerns, ear cleaning, a**l gland expression and general pet wellness advice can all be provided in the comfort of your own home.

Such a lovely little dog and a pleasure to spend time with. ❤️

Meet Mr. Red ❤️

Mr. Red is a lovely senior gentleman who enjoys his weekday strolls around the neighbourhood. His favourite things are sniffing everything and earning lots of well-deserved treats along the way.

Red has epilepsy and can take a little time warming up to new people, but once he’s comfortable he is such a sweet boy. After each walk he heads home for his afternoon medication

Hagrid had his regular clip today and is looking very handsome afterwards!

Since starting regular clips, he has been much more affectionate, has had far fewer hairballs, and has been shedding much less around the house. He’s feeling so much more comfortable in himself and enjoying lots more cuddles 🥰

This lovely older boy had plenty of energy during his pet sitting visit , enjoying outdoor time, playtime, and a few senior zoomies around the garden ☀️🐶

Even with diabetes, keeping a good routine, regular medication, and low-stress care can help dogs continue enjoying all the things they love.

Safe to say age definitely hasn’t slowed him down much ❤️

Angel is very much a “touch me on my terms” kind of girl and absolutely does not enjoy grooming or vet visits. Older cats like Angel can also struggle more with grooming themselves, which can lead to matting and overgrown nails.

Today Angel had a nail trim and a small matt clip done safely and calmly while wrapped up as a little purrito in a towel.

Even though she wasn’t a huge fan of the process, she still came over afterwards for a head butt against my leg, which is always a lovely sign of trust ❤️

Not every pet enjoys handling, and that’s okay. Working at their pace and keeping things low-stress can make such a differenc
