✨ Introducing our Puppy Agility Foundations Course! ✨

Dog agility is so much more than running over jumps and tackling equipment.

It’s a team sport — you and your dog working together, communicating through body language, verbal cues and movement.

It’s about creating:

🐾 Confidence
🧠 Self-control

🤝 A dog who LOVES working with you!

And the best part?

You can start building all these skills while your puppy is still growing — without needing jumps or high-impact equipment.

Our Puppy Foundations course will teach you the skills that form the building blocks of agility, using fun, creative exercises that can be practised at home, in the garden and out on walks.

📅 Classes will be held every two weeks, giving you plenty of time between sessions to practise your homework and build those skills into everyday life.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The whole family can get involved!

You’ll learn how to motivate your puppy, build engagement, develop focus and start learning the handling skills YOU will need as an agility handler too.

Then, when your puppy is old enough and physically ready to introduce jumps and higher equipment, they won’t be starting from scratch…

They’ll already have the foundations, confidence, communication and teamwork they need to progress. 🏆🐾

🐶 Agility training starts long before the first jump!

Winter training dates:
Saturday 10th October
Saturday 24th October
Saturday 7th November
Saturday 21st November
Saturday 5th December
Saturday 19th December
Training is outside at our training field, owners should prepare for the winter weather, classes may be postponed if weather is severe e.g met office weather warnings!
If a class date is postponed an additional date will be added to the block

Puppy classes will be open for booking on Thursday!
Classes starting 27th and 29th of October!
It’s going to be a fun filled Winter!

🌟 Our Puppy Class Philosophy
Puppy classes should be about so much more than teaching a puppy to sit and lie down.
Our aim is to help puppies and their humans build a strong, confident relationship while learning the skills they need for everyday life.

Classes will be fun, practical and reward-based, with plenty of opportunities for puppies to learn how to focus, settle, explore, recall and make good choices around distractions.

Every puppy will have the opportunity to earn Dream Dogs Puppy Awards as they progress 🤩

Yesterday was the last week of our 5 week puppy block and WOW how these puppies have grown! Not only in size but in confidence and their focus!
Unfortunately we were missing a few from our last class, we missed Romy & Maisie!
These pups had me cheering yesterday 👏🏼 🥳when they showed me what they’ve been working on - recall! Past distractions and other puppies straight back to their owners!! 🤩 superstars! 🌟
Classes are so much more than “obedience” it’s a chance to meet other puppy owners, share tips and tricks, learn what really motivates your pup, help our pups learn how to make good choices on their journey to becoming your dream dog 🤩

Credit to all the owners putting the work in in-between classes, it really shows!
Keep up the great work until we see you again for more puppy fun!

🌟 Parson Russell Terrier Riley won a special award on Saturday at the The National Nosework Association trial at Dream Dogs; A Synergy! 🌟
A synergy is an extra special award which can be awarded to a team that the judge feels shows exceptional teamwork!

Riley’s first search of the day just that! It was incredible, I’ve never seen a team so in unison, it was as though handler & dog were of the same mind, communicating effortlessly through the area without saying a word 🥰

What makes this even more special is that Riley is now 15 & 1/2 years old and his mum had made the decision that this would be his last trial, although he is fit and healthy, trial days are long and we always have to put the dogs welfare first! (Old boys need more sleep & recovery)
Riley will still be able to take part in scent work though as it’s not all about competitions!
Scent work will help keep his mind sharp & his body active!
Happy retirement Riley! 🤩 🥂
