WANTED FOR FRIEND’S HORSE MAD DAUGHTER 🐴

Wanted a lead rein pony for loan

We are looking for a lead rein pony for my 3 year old daughter. She started riding before she could walk. Experienced home, pony will be well looked after and want for nothing. Her current pony can be a little unpredictable at times and now my daughter is doing more pony club, her pony just isn’t going to be suitable. Happy to take on a golden oldie, based in Berkshire

🐴 Livery Available 🐴

Due to a couple of breaking liveries completing their time with me, I am pleased to offer short or long term livery.

I can offer schooling, rehab, holiday or competition livery.

Horses are treated as individuals, and cared for like my own. When based with me, however long or short their stay is, they are embraced into the family and given quality time.
Good quality feed, ad-lib hay and clean shavings beds are prioritised, along with turnout and work variety.
We are lucky enough to be based on a fantastic bridleway network, so they get exposed to everything without the dangers of busy roads.
Schooling work is based on the emphasis of working correctly improving suppleness, topline and core strength without cutting corners.

Whether your horse needs a few weeks of schooling, needs an introduction to the show arena or you want someone else to expertly rehab your pride and joy I can help.

Also, you may own a horse and be looking for a sympathetic rider to compete them.
Having produced a number of horses over 25 years + I can offer a longer term space to be part of a friendly, open and honest little team.

Shelby – 7yo, 16.1hh Family All-Rounder

A very difficult advert to write for an incredibly special horse.

Shelby is a 7-year-old, 16.1hh gelding with a Leisure Horse Ireland passport. He is the definition of a genuine family all-rounder and, above everything else, an absolute gentleman to have around.

Shelby is a real people person with a lovely, kind nature. He loves attention and has very much been part of the family rather than simply being a horse on the yard.

He hacks happily alone or in company, has hunted, and has done a fantastic job of bringing on an amateur male rider and giving him confidence and experience. He is a responsive well mannered ride.

Shelby is the type of horse who could turn his hoof to almost anything. We could see him making a lovely working hunter, hunter, hacking horse or general family all-rounder. Equally, he would be perfectly happy being someone’s best friend and enjoying a quieter life with plenty of attention.

The only reason for his sale is that he was originally bought as a confidence giver and has done that job exceptionally well. His rider has now reached the stage where he would like his next horse to be a little more athletic and performance-focused.

There is absolutely no rush whatsoever to sell Shelby.

His next home is far more important to us than the sale itself. He isn’t a horse that will simply go to the first person who turns up. Anyone genuinely interested should expect plenty of questions from us, as all potential homes will be properly vetted.

Shelby has given his family so much and deserves nothing less than a wonderful home where he will be loved and appreciated for the special horse he is.

Homebred Wham Bam is learning his trade, jumping some very nice rounds at a couple of BS and training shows. It’s all looking very exciting. 🤩

When you put so much hard graft, time, energy, blood, sweat and tears into the producing, whilst making sure they have time to mature and love their work for longevity, it’s wonderful to see the results. 💜

I recently had the pleasure of rebacking Kally for her owner 💖
A beautiful talented broodmare, with a super kind temperament.
She enjoyed lots of hacking and seeing the countryside, to help her get fit and loving riding work once again.

We loved having her on the yard and as part of the team during the summer 🫶🏼
