Please be aware, The environment agency are investigating possible pollution of the ponds at John pit/Elnup Woods today. They have apparently taken samples to be tested.

There's been a report submitted by a member of the public concerned about dead fish and algae.

Please be aware if you walk your dogs round there as it may not be safe!

For those still walking their dogs in 30° heat... Here's something to think about:

🔥 Our dog van is currently 50°
🔥 Our dog crates are 42°
🔥 The pavement is 55°!

By being out in this weather you put your dog at risk of dehydration, paw pad burns, and heat stroke.

Skip the walk, prioritise your dogs welfare! 🐾

Walk your dogs early in the morning or late at night when it's cooler and please don't leave pets in hot vehicles, even for a second! 🥵

Keep a close eye on your pets and watch for any signs of heat stoke or dehydration, always contact a vet if you are concerned 👨🏼‍⚕️

We are in for some very HOT weather over the next few days! 🔥🥵

As you know our top priority is your pets welfare and with the temperature reaching highs of 26, there is a high risk of things like heat stroke, dehydration, paw pad burns and suffocation in hot cars that we simply cannot risk! ❌

We will be offering drop-ins as usual to ensure your pets are cared for, providing toilet breaks, water refills and some enrichment. Any walks over 21 will be swapped to drop-ins or cancelled to ensure your pets are safe.💧

We have spotted these 2 plants growing in the local area and they are extremely dangerous to both animals and humans, avoid at all costs!

Long lines... Why do we use them?

Long lines provide our dogs with the freedom of being "off lead" whilst giving us full control!

It keeps them safe and allows them to explore freely without being given the chance to rehearse behaviours like running off! 😂

We use them with our reactive dogs to give them more freedom without risking an incident, meaning our dogs get a better quality walk whilst also staying safe and stress free! 🐾

🐾 Engagement around distractions
🐾 Focus around specific triggers
🐾 Impulse control around exciting things (Other dogs!)
🐾 Confidence building in different environments

These guys consistently put in the work and the results really do show! 🏆
