Social play was so rewarding on Saturday!! So nice to see these dogs build up to being able to play with each other respectfully.

Life skills are on again this Saturday 12-1pm and this week we’re covering LOOSE LEAD!
This is all about how to make sure you can train your dog not to be dragging you around and walking nicely next to you without pulling!

Noisy dog class is 10:30-11:30
Calm neutral environment to practise calm and quiet behaviours with your dog in an environment with other dogs!

Lots of different things from her in this but love training her!
These are all useful things that can be applied to real life:
• sit stay- when I need to be doing something or theres something arousing for her I know she will stay planted on the floor
• release word control- only goes when I say so and not when she decides!
• emergency stop- if we’re out and I see a danger I know she will stop, even mid retrieve
•recall mid retrieve- same applies, I know she will come back no matter what even if she’s started another task.
• release back to original retrieve- reminds me she’s still just a retriever who wants her god damn ball!!
