The 6th foal born at Sweet Wall in 2026 and the 6th filly! But this is the first one that belongs to us! A beautiful dun filly by Cairn Delight (CP) ex Flame of Hope (TB) (Dragon Pulse) so a traditional Irish horse. Will be for sale at weaning so form an orderly queue!

When you breed horses you always dream. Will this be “the one”. The 5* eventer, the 160 jumper? Sometimes then there are disappointments and disasters. But the satisfaction of finally riding your recently started 3yo and discovering they have the intelligence to match the conformation and movement is something else! This is Noblissima (know as Gigi) by Ardcolum Duke ex Girl Ranger (TB). She’ll do bits and pieces of work and maybe an away-day or 2 to the forest before a little break at Christmas.

Absolutely delighted for Marti and Tomás that this lovely young horse is in the Going for Gold sale and we wish him the best of luck!
His dam Creaking Step was the half sister to Monte Solaro who was the dam of Altior. Top National Hunt breeding.

UPDATE - the yearlings/2/3 yos are pretty much filled now. Still room for weaned foals.
Are you sitting listening to the wind and rain lashing against the window and thinking about your youngstock over the winter? At Sweet Wall we have space for 6 weaned foals and 4 or 5 yearlings/2yos/3yos.
The weaned foals live in a separate barn with a nanny mare. They have ad lib haylage and are fed Baileys stud balancer. We can take them at weaning and can dry off your mare or you can take her straight home. We like to wean in pairs.
Older youngstock are in a large barn and have ad lib haylage.
Farrier and worming are extras but are done regularly.

Lucca has had this lovely 4 year old in for some schooling and she has been such a good girl. She made her debut at The Meadows and then had a trip to Connelhill. Now she’s gone home for a little holiday- a perfect start for a baby. Thanks Catherine Jackson Garrett.
