Anstruther Harbour Festival started life as a Muster and continues to celebrate this by welcoming visiting boats of all shapes and sizes to fill the harbour . Competition for the best dressed boat award leads to colourful displays across the harbour.
The festival also celebrates tradition and heritage through events like their Sea Shanty workshop and Anster Scottish Show which brings together musicians and dancers to showcase the traditional Scottish pastimes.
The Anstruther Harbour Festival Committee Co-Chair, Evelyn Boyd said:
“There is something for everyone to enjoy at the festival whether it’s buying some quality local handcrafted products, enjoying the music or taking in the atmosphere”
“We are excited to welcome people to Anstruther. We’re very grateful to the local community who support us, especially all the people and businesses that supported us through our Crowdfunder, sponsorship or by volunteering. A big thank you also goes to all our funders.”
