I don't repost much, but Cat The Vet's interview with Jeremy Vine yesterday was cut short just before she was allowed the chance to reply to someone's queries about private practice drug pricing. So much for balanced journalism, BBC

Does this seem familiar? Why not try a home visit for your cat? At the very least, the stress of putting them into a carrier and travelling both ways is removed, so they are often less upset during their examination😼

The Visit Vet is on holiday this week, but you will be in the very capable hands of Tricia, who I worked with as a baby vet more years ago than either of us cares to remember! Home visits are available 10am-4pm Monday to Friday this week by phoning the usual number 07983834067, emergencies are covered by Craig Robinson Vets 01228 521393.

Did you know that pets can have acupuncture, too? The Visit Vet can use acupuncture to help with your pet's condition alongside conventional medicine, especially chronic pain management. Call or message me if you think your pretty can benefit from this service.

Only one month to go❗️ From 10 June 2024, cats in England will need to be microchipped and registered on a database by the time they’re 20 weeks old.

🧑‍⚕️ Be sure to contact your vet to book in an appointment.

Microchipping will help reunite you with your cat if they ever become lost. Even indoor-only cats should be microchipped because they are also at risk of becoming lost.

Owners could face a fine of up to £500 if they do not microchip their cat by the required deadline.
