🐾 Saturday afternoon at the farm!

I’ve got some space this Saturday afternoon, so I’m going to be taking a group of dogs up to the farm for a good run around, plenty of play and a chance to burn off some energy 🐶🌿

I’ll be collecting around 12 and dropping everyone home by 3. It’s £17.50 per dog.

This one is just for Adam’s existing daycare dogs, so if you’d like your dog to come along, just drop me a message and I’ll get them booked in 😊🐾

🌈 Today at the farm is dedicated to the memory of Koko. 🐾❤️

Koko absolutely loved his days here at the farm, and we have so many happy memories of him enjoying the fields, exploring, playing and simply being part of our days.

It’s always incredibly difficult saying goodbye to a dog who has become such a familiar and much-loved part of our Running With Dogs family.

Today we’ll be thinking of Koko and remembering all the lovely times we were lucky enough to share with him. Most of all, our thoughts are with his family, who we know will be missing him enormously.

Thanks for the memories, Koko. 🌈

🐶🤧 A little heads-up for our local dog community…

We’re starting to hear of a number of dogs locally coming down with what appears to be a viral respiratory infection, causing coughing and symptoms similar to kennel cough.

A vet nurse friend has also confirmed that they’re currently seeing a rise in cases in the area, so we just wanted to ask everyone to be a little extra vigilant over the coming weeks.

If your dog develops a cough, starts sounding a little hoarse, is unusually tired or generally seems under the weather, please keep them at home and give them plenty of time to rest and recover. ❤️

As with any contagious illness, keeping poorly dogs away from daycare, walks with friends and other social environments is one of the best ways we can help reduce the spread and look after the wider dog community.

If you’re concerned about your dog or their symptoms, please contact your vet for advice.

Hopefully it passes quickly, but for now — keep an ear out for those coughs and let’s look after each other’s dogs. 🐾❤️

Just a heads up to all Adam’s clients this week! Sarah has been called up for jury service! I’m now going to have to be on call with school if there are any issues or emergencies with the kids! We’ll get through this together!! I’m sure I won’t be needed but just incase, timings may be affected.

A POLITE REMINDER:

Please ensure that your dog has had ample time to eat and toilet before pick ups. We appreciate that sometimes it’s an early start, but we have had an increasing amount of dogs toileting in the crates in the van over the last few months and it’s really tricky to deal with when on our travels. If your dog has had a tummy bug or funny tummy within 24 hours of your booking please keep them home, because like children, it spreads like wildfire amongst them and causes undue stress. 🐾 Thank you for your continued support and care on this matter 🐾
