The lovely girl Sassy enjoying the autumn sun after her groom.

I visit her regularly and always comb a mountain of fluff out of her, but she still likes to give herself a wash to make sure I did a good job 😹

Met another lovely older lady today. This is Millie, she's 18 years young. Her coat was looking a little dull and tufty, and her claws were quite long (I never remember to take a before photo!)

After some gentle combing, slicker brushing and a massage brush she's looking shiny and beautiful! It's important to be very gentle when grooming older kitties as their joints can be tender to touch. She enjoyed a good ear and eye clean too.

She purred the whole time and was helping herself to treats 😹 good job Millie, not bad for a first ever groom! 😻

You've heard of Harry Potter as the boy under the stairs, well this is Daisy, the little lady in the potato shelf 😹

When I first came to see her she was fast asleep on the kitchen shelf amongst bags of potatoes! Her favourite place to sleep. She had some mats removed and ingrown claws trimmed, and now a couple of months later she's a new lady!

Her fur has grown back so well, she's fluffy, soft and her paw pads have all healed. She does very sweet little squeaks for attention and must be bribed with treats, a happy little lady at 19 years young 😻
