The boys really were incredible today🔥

Bueno stormed round inside the time, making nothing of a 9 minute course to move up to the silver medal position before show jumping tomorrow🥈🤞🏼

One For The Road skipped round and gave me the most fantastic feeling, just a few seconds over the time but thrilled none the less!

All fingers crossed for a good final day tomorrow🫣🤞🏼

Delighted with One For The Road in his test today at the Young Horse World Championships…he was definitely channeling his inner calm which isn’t always easy for him especially with the Mondial du Lion atmosphere🔥

Top 10 after the first day of dressage on 32.8 even after fluffing the last transition, so very proud of him!!

Bueno tomorrow at 16.45 🇫🇷 time🤞🏼

What a week🥇 Hidalgo wins the 3*L at ACEVA Lignières 2026 🥇

He was class all week with a 28.7 dressage and added nothing to it to take the win. A fantastic way to consolidate his season and time at 3* level, with lots of exciting events planned at the next level for next year. Thrilled for his supportive group of owners that we could pull off this result!

Thanks to Dana Bateman and Lucy Evans for all their hard work this week and the team at home for keeping everything running smoothly.

What a great event Lignieres is, thanks to the organising team for the fantastic hospitality

A couple of big weeks left including my first trip to Mondial du Lion 🤞🏼

Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 8/9yo championships 2026✔️

Hidalgo was really cool all week - a very nearly great test just losing a little focus at the end for 35, an unlucky pole and a great clear XC, feeling every bit a horse for the future🤩

King Carisma showed his greenness in all phases and we know what we need to work on but he’s only 8 so it was going to be a big ask!

Looking forwards to the next big one with them!

A day for the 5yos yesterday🥈

Lionheart Van’t Breezerhof did a fancy 24.5 dressage and just added an unlucky pole to it for 🥈 in his BE100 section

Brierfield MBF was ever the professional finishing on his dressage score for 🥈 in the other BE100 section. Both these two head to Cornbury House Horse Trials next🤞🏼

One For The Road also came for an spin round the novice for a double clear but HC so no prizes for him

Huge thanks to Wellington International Horse Trials for a great event!

Fantastic weekend at Frickley Park Horse Trials💥

Hidalgo finishes 2nd🥈 in the 3*S just adding a couple of seconds of time to his dressage score (only beaten by my wife Yasmin Olsson-Payne Eventing 🫣🥇)

King Carisma was super speedy in the same class, just an unlucky pole dropping him to 4th🏅

Both these two head to Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials next for the 8/9yo class in their first 4*🤞🏼🤞🏼

Huge thanks to Frickley for all their hard work on the ground and my team for keeping everything running smoothly!
