Pasha had a maintenance bath today so thought it was a good chance for some photos with our recent placements!
Still utterly shocked to not only win our poodle class and then to be top poodle out of all poodle classes THEN Reserve supreme best in competition 😭
Also the Reserve best pedigree in show for the fun show we attended!
Grateful for this smashing little dog and his mum allowing me to run away with him ❤️‍🩹

After a very rubbish week I carried on with my plans of taking Pasha to a fun dog show for some more bonding time while he gets confident and relaxed coming away with me. We really just went for some fun and to keep my brain busy! But WOW I did not expect him to get Reserve Best In Show! My favourite little potato really does have the charm! He had lots of compliments for his trim which was lovely to hear 🥰
I ended the day by tripping over thin air and have now given my ankle a phenomenal sprain 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I’m a little wonky but hoping that by the end of the week my ankle will be normal size and pain free! 💖

When they announced the Poodle and the Breed top dogs were being moved to the supreme best in competition line up I didn’t expect anything but oh my lord…

🏆 RESERVE SUPREME IN COMPETITION 🏆
With my favourite little Pasha, thank you Daisy’s Dog Grooming for letting me grow him out and start learning the modern trim with him 🥹🩵

There were over 180 competitors and over 350 entries so I’m utterly flawed to come away with 2 of the top 3 overall placements 😭

I also entered the NCPGA Summer glow up! And managed to come away with a 2nd in poodle beginners with Pasha! 😭

Well done to everyone who entered especially Holly and Lisa who smashed it 💖 without those two I wouldn’t have half the knowledge in my brain.

Thank you so much to all of the judges who thought so highly of the entries, I’m not sure what you’ve been drinking but I’d LOVE some of it 😂 I’m now retiring to some random mountain range to farm goats 🫡

✂️ Paignton And District Fanciers Association Dog Grooming Competition ✂️

After a rocky start me and Loki took a trip to Paignton champ show for their grooming competition! It’s been two years since I last competed solo as I can’t get past the nerves and anxiety enough to make my brain work 😅

But after working hard to find joy and happiness in the ring by doing doubles classes I finally took the leap! I didn’t expect a placement as my one goal was to complete his groom. Mistakes were made, brain cells went off to the food vans and never came back 🫣

I’m honestly shocked and grateful to come away with a first place 🥇 in a class of 5 that’s honestly amazed me. Our first solo placement together and something I didn’t expect to happen for many years 🩷

Loki, you are the most wonderful boy and every single person you met today just instantly loved you. One of a kind and I’m glad you’re my partner in crime 🩵
