What a special first day we had yesterday! We loved getting out in the van, meeting our very first patients and their lovely owners in the comfort of their own homes. 🏡🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us into their homes and trusted us with their pets on our very first day. It really does mean so much! 💙

Here’s to many more home visits, wagging tails, happy purrs and new faces across the Three Counties. 🐶🐱🐰

Highly recommend for those of you who have dog's that have some day to day struggles in life.

After intially using TT Touch techniques for just anxious dog's, it is now standard practice to incorporate into every groom we do.

🐾 Tellington TTouch® Training Workshop 🐾

We're excited to be hosting Toni Shelbourne for a one-day Tellington TTouch® Training workshop on Saturday 15th August and would love for you to join us!

Tellington TTouch® Training (TTouch) is a gentle, force-free approach to training, handling and rehabilitation that promotes physical, mental and emotional balance. It helps dogs adapt to the world around them with greater confidence and ease, without the use of fear, force or harsh equipment.

TTouch has been successfully used to help dogs with:

✔️ Noise sensitivities and phobias
✔️ Stress and anxiety
✔️ Reactivity and aggression
✔️ Hyperactivity
✔️ Confidence issues
✔️ Handling and grooming concerns
✔️ Lead pulling
✔️ Concentration and performance challenges
✔️ And much more

During this one-day workshop, you'll learn how to observe your dog in a completely different way, recognising subtle postural changes and understanding how these can affect behaviour and performance.

You'll also be introduced to some of the special TTouches® that help release tension from the body, as well as some of the equipment used within the TTouch approach.

This workshop is suitable for dog owners, trainers, behaviourists, veterinary professionals, groomers, dog walkers and anyone interested in learning more about canine behaviour and wellbeing.

Please note: Dogs attending must be comfortable being around other dogs and people and be able to settle quietly. If your dog may find this environment challenging, spectator places are available.

If your pet loves exploring the garden, it’s worth knowing about some hazards.

- Pesticides and w**d killers can be highly toxic, so keep pets away when using them.
- Slug pellets should be stored securely and only used where pets and other wildlife can not reach them; they can be deadly if eaten.
- Compost bins, piles of leaves and grass cuttings can contain harmful bacteria and mould when they rot, so make sure you're clearing your garden waste into a secure bin.
- Grass seeds can become lodged in your pet's skin, ears or eyes. As they're so small, they can move through the body's tissues, causing your pet serious inflammation or infection.
- Lots of toxic flowers begin to bloom in spring. Keep these plants and bulbs in areas your pet can't access. Or, if you can, avoid them altogether.
