These three lovely ladies brought a huge amount of brightness to our weekend 🥰

While their family celebrated a very special day nearby, we enjoyed glorious Autumn trails followed by cosy snuggles on the sofa - what a fabulous weekend for a wedding and for our exploring 🐾☀️

Pippa, Maggie and Lettie - you were great fun, and it was super getting to know you and your lovely family!

What about a gorgeous golden boy and all round Dapper Dog, Alfie, to bring a bit of brightness to our Autumn?

Our first October wedding didn't disappoint - we were back at the glorious Lancrigg and Alfie totally aced his duties as ring-bearer ⭐️

To top it all off, we enjoyed an evening of cuddles and a fabulous morning trek out before he headed back to his lovely family. Congratulations guys! 🥂

To mark the start of Autumn, September was a glorious month, full of exceptional dogs 😁 - check them out below....

🐶🐶 Buddy and Logan, Bichon Frise and Cockapoo
What a way to start the month, caring for these lovely boys and helping them to be a part of their equally lovely humans' elopement at the beautiful Cote How Lake District Weddings.
It was a really special afternoon, with the sun making an appearance at JUST the right moment for the outdoor ceremony, before heading down to the lake for some photos in the fabulous Autumn light ☀️
These boys stole our hearts, and the goodbye the next morning was a sad one!

🐶 Heidi, Golden Retriever
This lovely girl blew us away - her performance as Pup of Honour was just superb. She chilled through the ceremony, giving a celebratory woof with impeccable timing, and posed beautifully for photos with her lovely mum and dad ⭐️
It was so great to be back at the delightful Lancrigg with her.
Really fabulous to spend time with this golden girl, and to have her and her canine family to stay overnight too. There were lots of cuddles on the sofa 🤗

🐶 Hector, Golden Retriever
Two Goldies in a row was a real treat and Hector is such a sweet - and handsome boy, every bit the dapper dog!
This was our first wedding at the stunning Falcon Manor and it was such a lovely day there with this boy, and enjoying some super nearby trails throughout the day too.
Again, Hector totally pulled it out of the bag for some really gorgeous photos with his family - some lovely lasting memories for them 😍

🐶🐶 Nelly and Hugo, Whippets
Ah, these sweeties! Please just check out the photo of them in their PJs too, of course we were in love again 🥰
Nelly's and Hugo's lovely family tied the knot at Carlisle Registry Office with celebrations back in Keswick, and Nelly and Hugo were delighted to attend with us to see their mums + all the guests and have some celebratory photos.
Nigel's jazz hands came out for catching Hugo's attention for the camera as he was very thrilled to be amongst all his favourite people ❤️
Such a lovely occasion to be a part of and we had a really great day and evening with Nelly and Hugo - another sad goodbye the next morning!

🐶🐶 Winnie and Alfie, Cockapoos
It was such a privilege to be involved in this secret elopement and to take Alfie and Winnie along to be Dogs of Honour at their family's special occasion.

We had such a super day caring for them - and sometimes days are just magical, with everything falling into place perfectly, the sun shining at just the right moment, the setting being amazing (as always at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa) and the furry guests being happy and chilled throughout, as if they know just what a special occasion it is for their loved ones 🥰
We loved this day with such a super family - both humans and dogs!

🐶 Lulu, Cockapoo
We rounded off the month just where we started, at the gorgeous Cote How Lake District Weddings. Always such a pleasure to be here - and with an absolute superstar and all round sweet soul, Lulu ❤️
Although we only cared for her for a few hours, this little sweetie left a big paw print on our hearts. She was a diamond at Cote How, enjoying cuddles and photos with her loved ones.

🤫 Confession time - we may be biased but we think September is the best month to get married - because that's when we did!
All our September weddings were just spectacular in every way - and huge congratulations to all the fabulous couples and their delightful dapper dogs! 🤗🤩

Here we go, the 2nd and final part of our August wedding dapper dog round up!

🐶Monty, Fox Red Lab
What a handsome boy - we adored caring for this bundle of love and fun 🥰
We had a fab trek out with him in the morning and he was such a good boy being es**rted along to the beautiful Cragwood Country House Hotel on a glorious afternoon to see his lovely family and pose brilliantly for photos 🤩 - what a superstar!
It was sad saying goodbye to this super boy the following morning..

🐶Jasper, Mixed Breed
But then we had dapper dog Jasper along for the day to cheer us up! What a lovely boy ❤️
The first thing his family saw when they came down the stairs after their ceremony at the stunning Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa was their boy Jasper waiting to congratulate them, and he was so happy to see them!
He joyfully greeted family and friends before smashing it out of the park with his perfect sit and wait for the photos 👌
After all the fun, it was lovely having a relaxing chill out with him on the sofa before his hometime.

🐶 Foley, Jackapoo
Little dog, big character! Foley kept a smile on our faces all day 😄
It was fabulous to be back at the glorious Cote How Lake District Weddings to es**rt this cutie, who was the star of the show, posed beautifully and continued to bring the smiles and the love!
Back home, he happily shared his favourite toys for some playtime before some snoozes, and we s enjoyed our day with this happy little chap 😍

🐶 Wilson, Labradoodle
Just look how dapper this boy looked, sporting his Tuna & Bear outfit before heading along to receive a lot of love and attention at his mum and dad's special day 😍
We loved hopping across the bay for this wedding by the sea and we also loved our time with this sweet boy - he greeted guests and posed beautifully and looked so proud to be a part of the occasion 🤗

🐶 Frankie, Miniature Dachshund
After caring for a few dapper dogs in a row, it was lovely to welcome little diamond Frankie into our home for the day 🥰
This sweetie settled right in with us, and after a morning walk, chose a day of chilling peacefully under her blanket after all the excitement of the build up to her pawrents' special day.
She was super excited to get dressed up to visit her mum and dad and have some photos though - and it was great to head back to Tweedies in Grasmere for this. Doesn't she look beautiful?
Such a chilled Daxie! ❤️

Frankie completes our amazing August wedding doggies - they were certainly all fabulous and we so enjoyed this month; we'd like to thank all of the lovely couples for trusting us with their care - and huge congratulations! 🥂 Wishing you all the very best for your futures together with your gorgeous canine loved ones.

August was a wonderfully busy month with some delightful dogs, fabulous couples, glorious weather and stunning venues!
So we've split it into two parts for you - meet the gorgeous doggies in Part 1 of 2 below! 👇

🐶 Flynn, Husky-cross
We do love a super senior and Flynn was such a gentle soul to have around; we enjoyed a couple of good walks during his stay - and he absolutely loved heading to the beautiful grounds of Lindeth Howe to see his family and have some photos with them, such a happy boy 😊

🐶🐶 Doug and Pippin, Mix-breed and Border Collie
These two gorgeous boys have been adopted by their equally gorgeous family and it was very special to build their trust and help them to feel comfortable, content and relaxed throughout the wedding day.
They're chalk and cheese in terms of what they enjoy, but they get on really well, and as there was both of us on hand throughout the day, we could make sure both their needs were met to keep them happy 😊
So lucky to meet and get to know these two, they melted our hearts 🥰
And so lovely to spend the day at the stunning Askham Hall!

🐶 Ralph, Working Cocker Spaniel
Ah wow, we are big spaniel people and had such fun caring for this little beauty for the day - he loves his adventures so we enjoyed showing him some of our favourite trails, and he looked 100% the dapper dog heading back to the beautiful Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa to congratulate his lovely family and have photos with them 😍

🐶 Charlie, Working Cocker Spaniel
Another gorgeous boy to keep us in our spaniel fix, Charlie was a charming little fella that we loved getting to know!
He was an absolute superstar attending his family's wedding at the glorious Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa, and he posed so beautifully for photos too, another total dapper dog ⭐️

🐶 Peggy, Cockapoo
It's really special being involved in such intimate occasions and caring for Peggy during her family's beautiful elopement at the gorgeous Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa was very special indeed.
We really love our job - a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon spent with this lovely family and we think you'll agree, Peggy is an adorable flower girl ❤️

Really special getting to know each one of these guys, you can see why we had such a great month - part 2 to follow soon!

We'll soon be sharing with you all our lovely August wedding dogs, it's been a fabulous month and we can't wait for you to see these gorgeous doggies!

Some gorgeous golden dogs for you to put a smile on your face for the weekend! We had some time off in July but still had the pleasure of caring for this lovely bunch....

🐶Hiccup, Labrador
We do love a super senior and so it was very special to have Hiccup (best name ever..?) to stay with us to kick of our July weddings.
Hiccup's pawrents tied the know at the stunning Holesfoot and Hiccup looked so dapper with his beautiful floral corsage (Seed & Wild).
After all the fun, this gentle soul had a lovely relaxing afternoon Sniffari followed by an evening snoozing peacefully - like Goldilocks, he tried every bed in the house before finding his favourite spot 😴😍

🐶Winnie, Vizsla
It was a stunning day for this lovely elopement at the fabulous Tweedies in Grasmere and this gorgeous girl was an absolute diamond right through the ceremony and then taking part in photos. Such a sweetie, we so loved caring for her 🥰

🐶🐶Herbie and Tess
Adorable - we had the pleasure of spending such a fab day with these two, they were so sweet together and we really enjoyed getting to know them and having plenty of cuddles during their stay too 🤗

After our lovely morning walk we headed off to the glorious Town Head Estate so they could have some photos with their family - very easy when you're so photogenic! Herbie looked really dapper posing with his pawrents and they both really aced their wedding duties ⭐️⭐️

🐶Cosmo
As well as chaperoning, we also provide a Diamond Dog Sitting Service; this is perfect to ensure your dogs are having as much fun as you are while celebrating - so you have peace of mind too.
While Cosmo's family were attending their son's wedding at the beautiful Lodore Falls, we had the pleasure of getting to know this lovely boy ❤️
We enjoyed a super fell walk, before some well earned R&R back at their accommodation.

Another fun-filled month for us, getting to know some wonderful dogs - what an honour, and thanks to all those super families for trusting us with you canine loved ones! 😁

June round up! What a way to start our Summer of weddings with all these fabulous doggies 😤

🐶Eddie, Cockapoo
This little fella was definitely the star of the show at his mum and dad's wedding at the beginning of the month! He aced his role as ring-bearer at the stunning Inn on the Lake and brought lots of smiles to people's faces as a surprise for the guests 😁
We loved getting to know this beautiful boy and having him to stay with us.

🐶Oliver, Cockapoo
Lucky to be back quickly again to Inn on the Lake with another gorgeous dapper dog! Look how delighted he is to see his mum and dad all dressed up and he loved posing for photos 😍

🐶Joop, Working Cocker Spaniel
This lovely boy announced his arrival with pride at his pawrent's wedding and looked just amazing dressed up ready for photos at the beautiful Cragwood Country House Hotel on a super sunny day - check out his gorgeous floral corsage from Brackens of Bowness too ❤️

🐶Bruno, Patterdale Terrier
We had such a super day with happy chappy Bruno 🤗
As he can be wary of new people, we had a couple meet ups with him before the special day and this worked perfectly - on the day he was chilled and content throughout in our company, even snuggling up to us on the sofa for snoozes after his guest appearance at the lovely Broadoaks Country House 🥰

🐶Peggy, Border Terrier
It was an absolute pleasure to care for this little angel - she was a superstar waiting patiently for her big moment as ring-bearer, back at the stunning Cragwood Country House Hotel - which she managed perfectly before posing for photos.
We enjoyed every minute of our day with lovely Peggy, including walks and cuddles on the sofa 💗⭐️

🐶Dennis, Labrador
High up on our list for the most chilled dog ever at a wedding, Dennis actually fell asleep during this beautiful intimate ceremony and the glorious Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa 😄
We enjoyed a fabulous morning walk together and it was an honour to es**rt him along to the special occasion, before a relaxing afternoon following his guest appearance 😴❤️

🐶Ashbee, Labradane
We enjoyed such a lovely day with this handsome dapper dog, who posed so beautifully for photos on a gloriously sunny day, back at the stunning Cragwood Country House Hotel . We had a couple of fab sniffy treks and some time for treats and rest before we returned him back home to the North Lakes for his evening 😍

🐶Kasper, Samoyed
What a gorgeous fluffball, with an enormous character! It was a lot of fun caring for Kasper for the day, and he had a great time on the trails. This happy boy brought a huge smile to our faces and looked a million dollars with the beautiful backdrop of Cote How Lake District Weddings when we popped along for photos to his guardian's elopement.

🐶Douglas, Fox Red Labrador
Our first wedding at Windermere Jetty Museum - it was super to be a part of this special occasion, and Dougie is such a sweetie! How smart does he look posing beautifully in his tux?! 🥰 We had a lot of competition for Dapper Dog of the month in May!

🐶🐶Hank and Hollie, Staffy and Beagle
It was a really warm day when we es**rted these lovely pups along to the beautiful Broadoaks Country House but they took everything in their stride and did so well amongst all the excitement!
Hollie aced walking down the aisle with the bridesmaids and Hank was the most handsome and chilled ringbearer - so proud of them 🤗
We enjoyed a couple of super sniffy walks and a lovely chilled evening before returning these guys back to their mum and dad the next morning.

A really lovely month, and despite some mixed weather, the sun shone for all of these lovely couples celebrating their special days - which meant for some great outdoor photos with their canine loved ones! 🙌🥳

Hello everyone! We've had some issues with our page but we're now back up and running and have some catching up to do, sharing all the lovely doggies we've been caring for this year! 🥰

Starting with a round up of February - April....

🐶 Chester, Cockapoo
What a way to start our year of weddings, with a celebration on the day of love itself with this happy little Valentine at the beautiful Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa - not only was he such a dapper dog all dressed up for his pawrent's wedding, he was also the absolute star of the show posing for photos, and we had some glorious wintery walks together during his stay with us 🐾

🐶 Wilson, Labrador
This sweet boy injured himself pretty badly just a couple of weeks before the wedding, which meant he was unable to be part of his family's special day as planned.
However, we were more than happy to care for him during the day and night of the wedding, to make sure he had a lovely time too, with lots of enrichment activities and lots of cuddles 🤗

We were closed for weddings in March due to some home renovations, but then we enjoyed a wonderful April with these Spring beauties...

🐶 Winnie, Labrador
Such a gorgeous soul, Winnie was an absolute joy to care for, and take along to her family's elopement at the glorious Cote How Lake District Weddings on an equally glorious Spring day - a little bundle of happiness 😄

🐶 Bracken, Cockapoo
My goodness, what a cutie Bracken is! She walked down the aisle with the bridesmaids, mingled with guests and posed beautifully for photos at the stunning Askham Hall - we were blessed with blue skies again and then enjoyed an evening of lovely cuddles on the sofa after all the fun 😍

🐶 Reggie, French Bulldog
Reggie was as cool as a cucumber performing his ring-bearer duties for a fabulous trip back to the amazing Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel. He took everything in his stride like a champ, and, we think you'll agree, looked every bit the part - 100% Dapper Dog! ⭐️

🐶 Seb and Jax
It was such a pleasure to get to know these boys, and we had a lovely sunny morning walk, before getting spruced up for their star appearance at their pawrents' wedding at the wonderful Holesfoot. An afternoon Sniffari before relaxing snoozes back home completed a pretty perfect day! 👌

🐶 Leo, Sprocker
Back to the fabulous Cote How Lake District Weddings for another sun-filled, fun-filled day with this lovely little dapper dog - we packed it in with Alcock Tarn in the morning and Thirlmere in the afternoon - a top trail sandwich to his star appearance at his lovely family's elopement 🐾

🐶 Toby, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Probably the cutest and the most chilled ring-bearer ever! 😍
We had a fabulous day getting this lovely little fella in the last of our April weddings.
The weather was glorious, Cragwood Country House Hotel looked just stunning, and Toby was an absolute superstar throughout ⭐️
(and thanks so much to his lovely family for the yummy cake!)

It's been so lovely to look back on all these special occasions with these fabulous dogs from the first part of 2026 - and lots more to come!
