Hi everyone, I hope your dogs are bearing up in this heat- please take a minute to read as I'm struggling to fit everyone in due to the dangerous temperatures, drying equipment making the groom room hotter and getting to seriously dangerous levels to continue safely.
I have called time on my afternoon work days and rescheduling for other days in order to responsibly groom your much adored dogs.
Yes I am taking a huge loss in income but I'd rather that than the worst case scenario and nightmare happening!
Please keep your dogs cool, brushed and combed out and keep them cool during this summer and don't forget to book your next grooming appointment to both avoid disappointment and to keep my admin down and your costs

I require 48hrs notice to cancel or you will be charged up to 100% of the groom if I'm unable to book clients in to last min unwanted or forgotten appointments.

Please bear with me as I'm constantly checking the extreme hest we are experiencing this week. My salon was still reaching 30*+ at 8pm this evening we hi h is dangerous 🔥

I will be asking my booked clients to reschedule as I'd be happier if your dogs are safe and that's my #1 priority.
What appears safe outside can escalate into life threatening temperatures inside a grooming salon with dryers on.

Little Maggie has a few age related bumps now and one of them burst at the weekend x after a photo was sent, I continued with her grooming appointment, shaved very carefully and tightly around the wound so the hair wouldn't become stuck into it and carried on carefully with her groom and recommended she just sees her vets to make sure no antibiotics were needed as it was in an easy to reach area for her to access.
Really pleased your ok little one and that you looked your best for the vet!!
