🐾 Meet Monty & Mabel! 🐾

These gorgeous brother and sister West Highland Terriers came to see Vet Immy for their second vaccinations — and they were definitely more interested in the camera than their appointment! 📸😍

Vaccinating your puppy is an important part of helping protect them from preventable illnesses. Once they’re fully vaccinated, they can start getting out and about, meeting new friends, exploring the world and enjoying all those important social experiences that help them grow into happy, confident, well-rounded pups. 🐶❤️

🎃 Meet Pete the Pumpkin! 🎃

We’re delighted to introduce the newest (and most orange) member of the Cedar Vets team — Pete the Pumpkin, joining us for the month of October! 👋

Pete has been very keen to get stuck in and help the team with all sorts of important jobs around the practice. He’s had a go at answering the phone ☎️, making a cup of coffee ☕ and even helping with the laundry…

Unfortunately, the laundry didn’t quite go to plan, and Pete somehow ended up inside the washing machine! 🫣🎃🫧

We’re not quite sure what he’ll get up to next, but keep your eyes peeled for more of Pete’s helping around the practice this October! 👀🎃

🐶💙 Meet Charlie! 💙🐶

This gorgeous Cocker Spaniel puppy came to see Vet Immy for his very first puppy health check — and he was an absolute superstar! 🥰

In fact, Charlie was so content and relaxed during his appointment that he fell asleep on the consulting table! 😴🐾

Charlie is also a member of our Lifetime Care Club – Unlimited Plan, meaning his owners never have to worry about the cost of a consultation, as this is included as part of their plan. ❤️

🐶Meet Jack and Duck! 🦆

These two gorgeous Labradors belong to our lovely Nurse Chloe and recently came in to see Vet Ellie for a check-up and some blood tests. 🩺💉

They were both absolute superstars and so brave for their blood tests — and, as you can see, they were more than happy to pose for the camera afterwards! 😍🐶🐶

It is a is female, black and white short haired cat with no microchip

She was found in West Worldham

We recently had the pleasure of looking after this lovely ginger girl, Gillie, who belongs to one of our team members, Tabs. 🥰

Tabs has a wonderful heart for cats and rescues cats from Greece who are in need of loving forever homes. Many of the cats she rescues have had difficult starts in life and, like Gillie, have sadly had to have their eyes removed due to illness. 💔🐾

But despite everything they’ve been through, these special cats go on to live incredibly happy and fulfilling lives — and Gillie is a perfect example! She has a wonderful home with Tabs, where she is surrounded by love, care and plenty of attention. 🏡💕

Gillie came to visit us for a dental procedure and was an absolute delight to have in. She was such a sweet, gentle girl and completely won the hearts of everyone looking after her! 🥹🧡

We’re so lucky to meet special patients like Gillie and see just how much love and care can transform the lives of animals who have had a difficult beginning. 🐾✨

Meet beautiful Bess, a Spaniel × Flat-Coated Retriever who belongs to our Deputy Head Nurse, Katie! 🐶💕

Bess had been suffering from recurring urine infections, and unfortunately, after two courses of antibiotics, the problem still hadn’t been resolved. We needed to investigate further and make sure there wasn’t an underlying cause contributing to her recurrent infections.

Bess had a CT scan, which revealed that she was suffering from pyelonephritis — a kidney infection. 🩺

Her urine was then sent to the laboratory for culture and sensitivity testing. This allows the laboratory to identify the specific bacteria causing the infection and determine which antibiotics are most appropriate for treating it. 🧫🔬

We’re delighted to say that she is now back home recovering with Katie and getting plenty of well-deserved cuddles! 💕🏡

We’re also incredibly lucky to have access to a CT scanner at our Alton practice. Having advanced imaging available in-house means we can investigate cases like Bess’s without automatically needing to refer patients to a specialist hospital, helping us get answers and plan appropriate treatment as quickly as possible. 🩻✨

Today we’re celebrating the amazing reception team at Cedar Vets! 🐾

We absolutely love our team and couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do. They’re always there for our clients, going above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcomed, supported and cared for.

From greeting you and your pets with a friendly face at the desk, to keeping the practice running smoothly and being there when you need us most — our receptionists are a vital part of our whole team. ❤️

🌙 Four months of OOH care at the Alton Practice! 🐾

It’s hard to believe it’s already been four months since we started providing our out-of-hours (OOH) service at the Alton Practice — and what a four months it has been!

During this time, we’ve seen over 300 patients for emergency and OOH care. We couldn’t be happier to have been there for our clients and their pets when they needed us most. ❤️

And importantly, our OOH service isn’t just for our existing clients. Non-clients are welcome too! If your pet needs urgent care during the night, you can call us and our dedicated team will be here to help.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with their pets over the past four months. 🐶🐱

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting this gorgeous Golden Retriever puppy for her first vaccinations with Vet Emma! 🥰🐶

She was such a little superstar and was incredibly brave for her vaccines and she’s waiting for her family to make the important decision of what her name will be! 💉✨

Vaccinations are an important part of your puppy’s early healthcare. They help protect them against serious infectious diseases and, once they’ve completed their primary vaccination course and your vet confirms they’re protected, allow them to safely start exploring the world and socialising with other dogs. 🐕🌳💕
