We’re so happy to welcome Sammy and Linsey to the Groovy Grooming team! 🐶✂️❤️

💕 First of all, welcome back, Sammy! 🥰 After 10 years away raising her lovely children, Sammy has returned to the world of grooming and jumped straight back into things as though she’d never been away! It’s so lovely to have her back doing what she loves, and we’re delighted to have her as part of the team again. 🐾💖

🌸 And a huge, warm welcome to Linsey! 🌸 Linsey has joined our Groovy Grooming family after completing her Level 3 Diploma qualification this year! 🎓✂️ Before entering the world of dog grooming, Linsey worked as a hairdresser, bringing with her valuable experience, creativity and a passion for making others look and feel their best. We’re so excited to see her continue to grow and develop her skills with us! 🐶💕

It’s always lovely to welcome new faces and familiar ones back, and we feel so lucky to have you both joining us on this journey. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you’ll bring to Groovy Grooming and all the gorgeous pups you’ll be pampering along the way! 🐕🛁✨

🦷🐶 DO YOU BRUSH YOUR DOG'S TEETH? 🐶🪥

Meet the lovely Bear, who was an absolute ⭐ GOOD BOY ⭐ having his teeth brushed! 💙 Just look how well he did! 🥹🐾

Did you know your dog uses its mouth for practically EVERYTHING? From eating and playing to exploring the world, keeping those teeth healthy is so important! 🐶❤️

🦷 Why does dental hygiene matter?
Plaque and tartar can build up, causing bad breath, sore gums, tooth loss and painful dental disease.

🐾 A few simple tips to keep those pearly whites healthy:
🪥 Brush regularly with dog-specific toothpaste (never human toothpaste!).
🦴 Consider suitable dental chews to help reduce plaque.
👀 Check their teeth and gums regularly.
🐕 Keep up with vet check-ups to catch problems early.

💡 TOP TIP: Introduce brushing slowly with plenty of praise and rewards to make it a positive experience!

Nellie, Lola & Lottie were SO excited to see us last week! 🥰🐶 They had plenty of fun and playtime before their pampering… and then it was straight into a well-deserved nap! 😴💕

🐾💕 Three beautiful Dachshunds, one very pampered trio! 💕🐾

Last week our gorgeous Nellie, Lola & Lottie were back at Groovy Grooming for another pampering session! 🥰🐶🐶🐶

These three beautiful girls were SO excited to see us and, as you can see from the video, they were full of energy, having the best time playing before their pampering! 😂💕🐾

After all that excitement, a lovely pamper, plenty of fuss and some well-deserved relaxation, they were absolutely ready for a nap! 😴🥹💗

Just look at those sleepy little faces! 🥰 Three happy, pampered Dachshunds completely worn out after their lovely time with us. 🐾💕

We absolutely adore having Nellie, Lola & Lottie in — they’re such a gorgeous trio and always bring so much love and personality with them! 💗

💦 WELCOME TO THE SNAZZY SWIMMERS TEAM, STEVIE! 🐾
We’re so excited to officially welcome Stevie to the Snazzy Swimmers team! 💙
Stevie has been working with dogs for over 10 years and brings a wealth of experience, confidence and a real passion for helping our four-legged friends.
She is currently completing her Level 4 Hydrotherapy course and has already completed the practical side of her training! 🐶💦
Stevie has been doing an amazing job with the dogs, and it’s been fantastic to see how naturally confident and comfortable she is in the pool. We’re so pleased to have her as part of the team and can’t wait to see her continue to grow with us.

🐾💦 Stanley’s hydrotherapy session! 💦🐾
Stanley is working hard in the water to help support his elbows and strengthen his core. Hydrotherapy is a great low-impact form of exercise, with the water supporting his body while allowing him to build muscle, improve strength and stay active without putting as much strain on his joints. ❤️
He had a lovely session of walking and playing in the water, and after all that hard work, it was time for some well-deserved fun! 🥰
A little playmat time, lots of treats and a chance to wind down — because all work and no play wouldn’t do for Stanley! 🐶🦴🎾

🐾🌭 WE HAD A DACHSHUND DAY! 🌭🐾

Today we had THREE beautiful Dachshunds visit Groovy Grooming, and we absolutely loved pampering them! 🥰✂️🫧

Did you know Dachshunds come in three different coat types:
✨ Long & silky
✨ Wire-haired
✨ Smooth

And they come in three sizes:
🐾 Toy
🐾 Miniature
🐾 Standard

Today we had the gorgeous Lilly & Willis in for a nail trim and teeth brushing 🦷✂️, while the wonderful Archie came in for a full coat hand stripping. 🐶✨

All three were beautifully behaved and enjoyed some well-deserved pampering and cuddles! ❤️
