a few memories

Walks-4-U turned 25 today! It's hard to believe that 25 years ago, as a newly single mum of a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old, I put a handwritten advert to walk dogs up on Cedar Vets' notice board. The rest, as they say, is history.

Thanks to all my first customers (some still are) and my clients now. I've seen many dogs over that rainbow bridge 🌈 and walked the next generation after them, but I've still got their names on my phone—gone but not forgotten xx.

I would like to thank my family for suddenly becoming childcare when things took off, my late dad for helping with van worries and lost car keys in the woods (nightmare 😂), and my children, Shayla, Kane, and Leisha, for putting up with a mega busy mum and for dragging you out walking dogs in your holidays 😊.

Logistically, I'd like to say here's to the next 25th but as I'm nearing 60 that's wishful thinking 😂!!

I was woken up at 5:30 AM by a police phone call. They had found a dog in the early hours in the village. Was it mine? Did I know whose dog it was? (My question in my head: how did they have my number?) Yes I did manage with a barrage of questions to work out who the dog and owner was !
I think I should start a doggie detective agency 😂( please update microchip details if you change the address!)
