🌞Looking after our pets In Hot Weather 🌞
The temperatures may have fallen a little but it is still very hot. So we just wanted to remind everyone about how they can keep their pets safe in the hot weather 🐾
We love to see all our customers dogs in the shop but with the current temperatures being so high we urge all customers to leave their dogs at home in the cool and shade.
We also urge everyone to:
🐕 Avoid middle of the day walks with your dogs go early in the morning or late evening.
🐶 Put a cooling jacket/ bandana on your dogs
💦Provide fresh, clean and cool water regularly for all pets if in a plastic bowl or bottle change every few hours as the plastic will heat up making the water hot too
🐹 Keep all pets in the shade as much as possible. If your guinea pigs are in a hutch make sure the hutch is in the shade or bring them into a cool area such as your kitchen
🧊 Provide them with cooling aids such as paddling pool, frozen treat or cool mat.
🎾Avoid getting them over excited such as playing tug or throwing the ball with dogs
☀️ Monitor them out in the garden and dont let them spend too much time out in direct sunlight
