An in-house dog sitting service based in Alnwick, Northumberland!

18/08/2026

Hi all, I’m very sorry to announce this will be my last year running Zen Dog Sitting full time. I’m going back into education and couldn’t dedicate the full time needed to continue working as I am and caring for your dogs to my fullest ability.
All bookings already made for next year will of course still be honoured and it’ll be business as usual for me until January! Please do reach out if you have any questions or concerns and I’ll answer to the best of my ability.
Thank you all for your loyalty and give your dogs a biiiiig cuddle from me as I’ll miss them immensely!

Thank you all for a wonderful 3 years ❤️

All the best,
Caelan 🐾

And that's a wrap on 2025, thanks to everyone who has booked with me this year! I will be posting my 2026 availability soon so watch this space!

I am hoping to trial something new this coming year and from January to end of April I will be prioritising dog walks, short stays and pop-ins! I focus on one-on-one walks and am always happy to take on reactive dogs or any dog who may need extra support and accomodations.
If this is something you'd like to arrange, please do get in touch at [email protected]!

Hi all!

I wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who's booked in with me this year. I only have a few dates left in November if you're planning a weekend away or perhaps a day trip somewhere!

Otherwise, I am accepting bookings for 2025 too. As always, I take my enquiries through my emails at [email protected].

Whilst I'm not as active on Facebook (as I am comically bad at social media ahaha) you can follow me on instagram for more regular doggy posting!

Hi all! I'll be on holiday until the 18th so I won't be able to reply to any enquiries until then ☺️

AVAILABILITY UPDATE ~

Hi all!

I hope you've all enjoyed the sunny spell we've had, just popping in with a quick update for my availability in 2024. Currently I am fully booked for June/August/September, with limited availability in July.

If you'd like to book in for later in the year please email me at [email protected].

It's been lovely meeting so many new dogs (and a few cats, too!) this year!

2024 BOOKINGS -

Hello all! I hope your 2024 has got off to a good start!

Just a reminder that my books are open for 2024. Currently I have limited availability in April and June so be sure to book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!

I'm still arranging all bookings via email ([email protected]), if you could include as much info as possible in your enquiry that would help me out immensely!

For example:
"Hello, do you have availability for the XXth to the XXnd of March? I'm based in Amble and you'd be looking after my dog Fred, a 7 year old male greyhound. He walks well on lead but dislikes all other dogs and will bark and lunge. He also requires medication twice per day that he will take with some ham. He can be left for up to two hours."

This just helps me ensure I'm taking on dogs that are suitable for me -- I wish I could take on every dog but if you have a large breed dog that pulls heavily on lead, for example, I imagine they'd end up taking care of me instead!

I look forward to hearing from you all and I hope you all have a wonderful year!

Somewhere in all that fluff is the lovely Loki, who I had the pleasure of looking after a few weeks ago, enjoying some chin scratches ☺️

I’m not usually a social media person but I’ll try to post more often in the future!
