The absolutely stunning Sundy on his first walk out with another dog here .
He is the easiest of dogs and walks so beautifully.
He’s an absolute star ⭐️

Breed: greyhound
Disposition: loving , chilled
Loves: zoomies, sleeping
Dislikes/wary of: not having company but can be left for short periods with no issues
Dog friendly: seems to be
Cat friendly: unknown but he is an ex racer
On lead behaviour: very good
Previous bite history: no
Fully house trained: yes
Prey drive: not seen any but again he is an ex racer

Requirements:
Breed experienced owners: sight hound experience preferred but not essential
Can they live with other dogs : yes after introductions
Children in the home: he’s never lived with children so older children
Rural/Urban: either
Someone at home for company: yes he loves company and cuddles

General background: after his racing life he was adopted but due to change in circumstances Sundy came to us . He had been well loved and well looked after.
He has just had a dental

Poor Ripley is still looking for the right
home . She’s only a little girl just a bit bigger than a pug.

Ripley may be partially sighted but nothing stops this girl.

Our rehoming area is Berwick to Newcastle
Name: Ripley
Age (approx): 11/10/24
Breed: Pug x American bulldog
Disposition: full of energy
Loves: tuggy toys , puzzle toys
Dislikes/wary of: she can be easily startled due to her being partially sighted
Dog friendly: she seems to mainly ignore them
Cat friendly: apparently she lived with 2 and chased them
On lead behaviour: walks pretty well
Previous bite history: not that we are aware of though she was
very mouthy but this has calmed right down .
Fully house trained:
Prey drive: she would definitely chase

Requirements:
Breed experienced owners: bull breed experience would be preferred
Can they live with other dogs : unknown
Children in the home: teenagers
Rural/Urban: doesn’t matter
Someone at home for company: definitely initially ,again with her being partially sighted it may take her longer to settle into a new environment.

General background: Ripley is a typical boisterous bully type dog . She’s affectionate and full of fun though as stated she does mouth a lot when excited which we are working on . Ripley has been a very well loved girl in her previous home .

Captain is looking for an experienced owner who is around a lot of the time .

Name: Captain
Age (approx): 2
Breed: saluki x
Disposition: nervous of new people initially then very affectionate
Loves: playing ball , fuss , running
Dislikes/wary of: strangers
Dog friendly: seems to be ok on the whole
Cat friendly: not tested but not recommended
On lead behaviour: bit pully but not bad
Previous bite history: he has snapped
Fully house trained:
Prey drive: some but not awful

Requirements:
Breed experienced owners: sight hound experience a bonus
Can they live with other dogs : possibly after several introductions
Children in the home: teenagers
Rural/Urban: either or
Someone at home for company: yes he will need someone around a lot initially

General background: Captain was originally a stray

Today was our annual dog show at the Puffin festival in Amble .
Thank you to all of the competitors.
Thanks as always to our returning judge Paul Dawson manager of Alnwick pets at Home .
To Sarah’s dad for getting us a gazebo and to the lovely supporter who got us new fencing for our show ring.
Also of course to our volunteers Pandy , Sarah, super Sue and Shyan and our amazing supporters from Snoods for Dudes Sarah and Adam .
