Sorry for the long post that I'm about to write....

Yesterday was one of the hardest and most challenging days we have ever faced 😪
On the 10th May we took our beloved golden retriever to the vets for what we thought was arthritis, what we came away with was a 2 week time limit of how long we would have left with her. She was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen. Molly was a stubborn girl and gave us 4 wonderful more months with us 🙏
Yesterday morning, however she collapsed at home, we knew the time had come where she had had enough 😔
We have been registered with Abbey Veterinary Centre for years who are amazing but unfortunately we wouldn't have made it in time as they are an hour away from where we live so we rushed to Black Sheep Vets in Louth where Kathryn the vet and all the staff were absolutely amazing. They stretchered her out of the car because she was unable to move and when the time came we were there for her outside in the garden where she fell asleep for the final time 😇❤️

This was the reason we were late to our job at Old Leake Community Centre with the reptiles for which I must appologise. I was in touch with the organisers in the morning and Rebecca and her staff were so wonderful, caring and understanding for which I am so grateful 🙏
When we were set up the response from everyone was amazing and the joys and smiles on everyone's faces made our day ☺️ so thank you to each and every one of you for showing up and coming to see us ❤️

I want to give a special thanks to one particular person though!
Amanda Parker is hands down the most amazing friend we will ever have. She came straight round to the vets for us, helped me on the reptile job and has been there in person or on the end of the phone every step of the way. She doesn't like me thanking her but she better get used to it 😉

I also want to thank David Stokes and all our family and friends for being there to support us through this difficult time. This unfortunately is the worst bit about being pet owners and we are so grateful for all the love we have in our lives ❤️💙🙏
