.kopczynskaa did ask can I get bit off Axel, I did say it hurts but it will be funny….for us watching! However it is actually really enjoyable in a weird way, if that’s what you’re into for fun! 🎥

🐾 Looking for more than just a dog walker? I’m a dog trainer & a sports competitor in dog sports.

Does your dog have energy to burn and need a little extra direction?

At Commando K9 Dog Services, I specialise in high-drive and working-line breeds, providing structured pack walks that combine exercise, social skills, recall and off-lead freedom in the open countryside.

📍 Covering Airdrie & Coatbridge

📩 Message me to discuss your dog and find out about joining the pack.

Suitability requirements and T&Cs apply. Off-lead freedom is earned as trust and recall develop.

IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATE 🚨 🚨

As of the start of next month all bookings for any service I provide must be paid for upfront.

I’ve found out the hard way that people are selfish and dishonest. I won’t be on the loosing end of a business transaction in future.

Thank you Connor

Myself and Axel PDC Obedience routine 🐕 58.5 out of 65.

Where do I think we lost points?

• Axel anticipated the down after the figure of 8. He had been either not going into the down or popping up out the down the month leading up to the trial. So I had been correcting him to get the behaviour. So I lost points as he wasn’t commanded to do the behaviour.

• Watching the video back he was bumpy in the left turn round the cone in the fig 8.

• I was told he flinched at the first gunshot

• He was forging/crabbing heavily prior to the down in motion & the down in motion was slow.

• He jumped into/bumped into me in the recall to heel at the end.

I thought I’d share my assessment so my fellow Scottish competitors can go achieve a higher score next trial season Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇺🇸

Overall I’m really happy with our OB routine, I really enjoyed the whole experience!

Thank you to Pawfection K9 & Crown PSA for hosting the 1st regional trial here in the UK. It was brilliant to see the top level competitors in action. For myself & Axel PDC passed ✅ 58.5 in OB & 86.5 in Protection. 145 total.

Thank you to everyone who has helped myself and Axel in this journey so far. We will go away & work hard over winter ready for the 1s next trial season. The weekend and day was made more special as my daughter came along to watch me, now she has some understanding of why I’m always “playing with the dogs” as she puts it.

Special thanks go to aaronblaircampbell🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 𝑴𝑬𝑮𝑨𝑵 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑹 Josh Neil Juji Gatame & especially Michael @ Paws N Claws for all the help & advice.
