here at Peatside i provide a sympathetic approach to the backing and schooling of young horses. Horses are taken step by step from start to finish as and when they are ready to move on to the next step, all the way through from mouthing, to lunging, double lunging, longreining and finally riding. Your horses training will be tailored to your requirements from the very beginning, depending on your

final intentions, whether you are looking for a happy hacker, a show horse or a jumper. All clients are required to come and ride their horses at least once (but more often if possible) before leaving my yard, to ensure that you as the owner are happy with your horses training, and that you are confident to continue the work at home. i am always available to come to your yard for your first ride back on home soil if u feel u need a little support, and will always be at the end of the phone should u need any further advice.
