🎉 A NEW CHAPTER FOR ACRES VET CENTRE 🎉
We are absolutely delighted to say that our new site at Airdrie Retail Park was officially opened on Wednesday 30th September! By Ruth Elliot🐾🏡
It feels like the perfect time to look back at just how far this practice has come.
Our story goes all the way back to the mid-1970s, when the practice was owned by Gordon Reid. It then became Smith & Reid, before eventually becoming Peter Smith’s, and later Acres Vet Centre.
Over the years, we’ve continued to grow and evolve alongside the amazing community we are lucky enough to serve.
From our original single shop unit on Alexander Street, we moved into a double shop unit, then onwards to a purpose-built practice on Upper Mill Street.
And now… here we are! 🎊
From those humble beginnings to our brand-new, huge purpose-built site at Airdrie Retail Park, it’s quite a journey to look back on.
But buildings are only part of the story.
The real history of this practice is the people, the pets and the memories that have filled it over the years. Generations of families have walked through our doors, and we know that many of you will have your own special memories of the practice, our teams and, most importantly, the pets who have been part of your lives. ❤️🐶🐱
