Weather Update

The show is still on as planned tomorrow, the forecast is between 22-27, and as we know Croft Top tends to be a little cooler than anywhere else! We have checked in with them and the yard is doing well with the heat, however we will be making the following adjustments -

A groom will be allowed into any ridden class after the go round with refreshments for you and your horse. They do not need to be formally dressed but they must have a hat on for safety.

A large red water bucket and sponge will be available outside the two outdoors and within the small holding arena in the indoors should you wish to sponge your horse down between classes. In addition a small blue bucket and sponge will be in each arena and if you feel sponging down is needed whilst in the ring please ask the steward who can support you with. To avoid any risk of cross contamination please use these buckets to sponge down only, and have your own clean water for your horse to drink.

Go rounds will be kept to a minimum and we are recommending short shows for all of our afternoon classes as the temperature rises.

Riders and Handlers do not need to wear a jacket if they would prefer as long as they have a long sleeved shirt on for health and safety purposes.

Please ensure that you keep yourselves and your horses hydrated through the day!
